The holiday home has a rustic character, offers charm and invites you to feel good. Ideal for relaxing or hiking.
For years we lived in the house ourselves, but from late summer 2017 we are now offering it for rent to guests seeking relaxation - and have completely renovated the inside for this purpose.
We look forward to your visit and welcome you to Central Hesse. Dogs are also very welcome here.

Our house is situated on a hill with a great view of the Laubach district of Ruppertsburg.
You will find pure peace and nature, lots of greenery and a large property.
It is 4 km to the climatic health resort Laubach. Numerous hiking and walking trails invite you to explore the surroundings.

If the reservation is cancelled up to 20 days before the start of occupancy, 30% of the total price is charged. If the cancellation is made from the 19th to the 14th day before the start of occupancy, 50% of the total price is charged. If the cancellation is made from the 13th to the 7th day before the start of occupancy, 60% of the total price is charged. If the cancellation is made from the 6th to the 1st day before the start of occupancy, 80% of the total price is charged. If the holiday home is not occupied and no formal cancellation declaration is made, 100% of the total price is charged.

Many attractive events take place in Laubach (& especially in the castle park) every year, and you are cordially invited to take part in them. The distance is approx. 3 km on foot or 4 km by vehicle.

Wonderful family holiday home
Highly recommended
We wanted to escape the Christmas stress with the children. We succeeded perfectly thanks to the beautiful holiday home
The holiday home is equipped with everything that is necessary. Thanks to the converted attic, parents and children even had free and retreat spaces, if necessary. A very nice, quiet and good location with a view of Ruppertsburg. We really enjoyed the cosy wood-burning stove. We also took a walk out of the house into the surrounding nature
And how warmly and lovingly we were welcomed and looked after by the hostel mother is quite extraordinary. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful domicile to switch off
The holiday home is situated on a beautiful plot on a slope and is an ideal retreat for a few days' escape from everyday life. What helps is the stove with its magic, and the many metres of bookshelves - you virtually dive into the Bertelsmann book club of the 60s and sink into the crackling flames. Tip: Scandinavian fans in particular will find lots of exciting things, from Bergen picture books to Swedish crime novels. In my opinion, the TV could be taken out - nobody needs it. I particularly like the friendly welcome and the accommodating attitude of the owner, who also has a heart for dogs and allows four-legged friends in her home. The walk begins practically in front of the door. The only minus point is that a cubic commercial complex has been placed to the side of the view from the veranda. But it helps to ignore it - the overall experience is harmonious.

I work in the tourism industry and enjoy travelling the world myself. Three grown-up children and a dog (husky), who naturally wants to walk a lot and feels at home on the grounds of our holiday home, are part of my family. So we also make good use of the walking paths in the immediate and wider surroundings. The newly asphalted cycle path from Hungen to Laubach leads via Ruppertsburg and here too I like to be out and about as soon as time permits. There is a beautiful tennis court on the outskirts of Laubach, where I like to play tennis with my children or other club members in the summer. Of course, our dog is always with us and supervises everything ;-) Our village of Ruppertsburg offers visitors a lot of peace and quiet, hilly countryside, lots of greenery and a high probability of encountering deer and other forest animals.
