Less than 1 km away from Via Francigena and 2 km from San Gimignano, the two houses of the "Podere la Proda" are located in a small rural hamlet whose core dates from the Middle Ages.

Who seeks peace will find it there...
Curiously, after the 1500km long arrival, we explored the area. Thanks to the "roommates" of the other 2 houses, we were able to get a first impression of the location. The landlords were not on-site yet, which had understandable reasons as we could find out afterwards. There was then a very nice reception and we liked the house very much. Quiet, secluded and yet close to the village. The view is fantastic, the furnishings functional and lovingly designed. The garden and the pool invite you to linger and the surroundings can be easily explored on foot. In the small picturesque Monteverdi Marittimo you will find cafes, bakery, restaurants. Small picturesque alleys and flower splendor everywhere. We felt extremely comfortable and are very glad that we decided to stay there. No TV, nothing to distract from nature and peace. We would choose it again and can only recommend it.

beautifully laid out
We stayed in Mandorlo 2. The property on which the houses are located is wonderfully landscaped and well maintained. The pizza oven works very well and the landlords are very friendly and helpful. You can relax very well, everything is very quiet and pure nature. We would love to come back.

we are already the third time here
We stayed at Casa Mandorlo for the third time this year. We would especially like to emphasise the warmth of the owners. We like to come here just because of Cincia and Bisio. The Italian hospitality can be felt everywhere. The accommodation is simple, but equipped with the most important things. The grounds, the pool and the view are simply beautiful. Sitting on the warm steps in the evening and enjoying the sunset and the peace is pure relaxation

very nice and friendly people
The accommodation was very quiet and we wanted for nothing.pool, barbecue, terrace, we had the top cottage,very nice.you get in Montiverdi ....ca.5min away, everything you need.the people are all very nice and helpful

We will definitely come again
This is the second time we have stayed in this accommodation, knowing that the furnishings are very basic. But this is compensated by a great location with a view of the Tuscan countryside and a beautiful property.
We had problems with our car this time. The landlords were more than willing to help us with this.
