Description
Spend relaxing holidays in our 2017 renovated holiday home in the South Harz in the historic European town of Stolberg, the climatic health resort with wonderful surroundings.
The house offers space on 100 sqm for up to 8 people and features
WLAN, 3 double bedrooms (2x with TV), 2 bathrooms (with shower and WC), fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room with fireplace and double sofa bed, covered terrace, fenced small plot, as well as a parking space
The dining table can be extended and offers space for at least 8 people, as well as sufficient terrace furniture.
There are a total of 3 televisions available.
Each room can be heated separately.
The house is very centrally located in a quiet alley.
Dogs/pets are welcome to come along.
A beautiful hiking trail lies directly in front of the door and leads you either through the beautiful beech forests or above around the village

| We have uniform rental prices all year round except Christmas and New Year's Eve: 58€ per night for 2 adults (1st night 103€ incl. endr.), for each additional person +14€, children up to 12 years are charged 9 € / night. Dogs are welcome and may be brought along for 3 € / night. The municipality of Südharz levies a tourism tax for the town of Stolberg (2,20 € adults, 1,50 € children and youths from 7-18 years per night). The tax is to be paid on site and is not included in the rental price. Towels and bed linen can be brought along or rented for € 14 per person. |

Very cozy apartment
The little house is very cozy and clean. But it's not suitable for tall people. My husband bumped his head several times because the ceilings are low. And while showering, the water quickly became cold. But all in all, we rested very well. Simply beautiful.

Es freut mich sehr, dass Sie sich in der "kleinen Hexe" wohlgefühlt haben und die Ferientage genießen konnten.
Die urigen Häuser in Stolberg sind teilweise mit niedrigen Deckenhöhen, vor allem im Obergeschoss, versehen. Hier gilt ab 1,90 m Körpergröße : Kopf einziehen ?. Leider ist es im kleinen Bad nicht möglich, einen größeren Boiler zu installieren, so dass das heiße Wasser nur für eine kürzere Dusche reicht.

Very nice holiday!
A great, quaint, cozy half-timbered house in a quiet location (side street) but still very central. We felt very comfortable; the house is well-equipped, clean, and lovingly arranged. Communication with the owner and manager was straightforward and super friendly. We would love to come back - a clear 100% recommendation! Thank you very much!

Highly recommended!!!
We have been to the "Little Witch" several times and can only say again and again: We felt completely comfortable. The house is very well furnished and equipped with everything you need. Over the years, furniture and electrical appliances have been renewed from time to time, which has always led to an improvement. We grilled delicious things on the terrace, which we could buy from the butcher at moderate prices.
We slept in the lower bedroom, the bed is very comfortable and good for the back.
The air is noticeably clear, so you can really sleep well.
The city is truly worth seeing and unique. In any case, you should take a tour of the castle with a view over Stolberg. Every house looks different, sometimes crooked, but almost always colorful.
Our dog felt very comfortable in the house and on the great hiking trails.
We will definitely come back...

Quiet little house with weak points centrally located in Stolberg.
The layout of the house is ideal for a family with older children. The house is quaint and located in the 2nd row, but really quiet. The bathrooms are modern, special plus = washing machine. The bedroom on the ground floor is accessed through the larger bathroom. The bedroom is functionally furnished, we found the simple spring mattresses not back-friendly.
On the 1st floor is the living/dining room with a beautiful fireplace. The dining area made a good impression, the table is extendable. The adjacent kitchen is quite old. Apart from the freezer cube that we found connected in the shed, everything necessary is available in the kitchen. Some things need a bit of sprucing up, and unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabinets was not optimal. We received compensation for the non-usability of the oven (stove in the kitchen - short-term defect), and a mini-oven was provided. The bedrooms on the 2nd... OG, especially the one with the pull-out bed, are attractive and both have a separate entrance to the shared upstairs bathroom.
The terrace on the 1st floor is large and a beautiful place to relax in the warm season. WiFi is available, there are no window blinds in the bedrooms.
Each room in the house can be heated separately. The oil heating system in the ground floor hallway heats the entire staircase, and the fireplace also warms the living room well. In all other rooms, electric heaters are available, which was a big downside for us because it took a long time for them to warm up the room. What personally irritated us was that some of the furnishings seen in the photos were no longer present (e.g. there is now a coffee table that is too high, old instead of new chairs, etc.). Despite being informed, the photos have not been changed to this day (mid-January 2024). CONCLUSION: Stolberg excels with half-timbered houses, the house receives 3 stars from us, the spa facilities are still closed!
