Step inside and enjoy the dreamy tranquility in the midst of nature directly from the terrace. Only the lively chirping of the rare bird species found here overlays this relaxing peace. Our stilt houses at the Seedorf campsite are located about 1 meter above the ground and are reached via a staircase. Each one is individually furnished and built, and completely unique. The holiday home is equipped with 4 sleeping places with bedding in 2 sleeping lofts. A mini kitchen with glasses, dishes, and cutlery, a television, and a seating area are available. Toilets, showers, washing and dishwashing facilities, as well as a washing machine, are located about 40 m away in the sanitary building of the campsite. Directly next to the stilt houses there is a dishwashing sink with drinking water access. On the terrace in front, with table and benches, you can relax and experience nature up close. Our dreamy sandy beach with very shallow entry directly at the campsite is the icing on the cake for a wonderful holiday. The stilt houses are located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerow Lake Nature Park, 800 m from the German Avenue Road in a forest clearing directly on Lake Malchin. You can walk only 250 m to the large Seedorf beach on the lake. The stilt house is located in the triangle between Lake Kummerow, Lake Müritz and Lake Plauer See and lies quietly in the middle of a European bird sanctuary and landscape conservation area. If you like adventure holidays in the middle of nature, this is the place for you.

Seedorf on the large Seedorfer Strand belongs to the municipality of Basedow. Basedow, one of the most beautiful villages in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is famous for its church with one of the most important organs in northern Germany and its beautiful castle with Lenné Park in front. The bathing beach is only 150 m away. A beautiful new steakhouse in historic walls can be reached in Basedow in 5 minutes by car or in 15 minutes on foot along the cycle path through the forest. One of the best fish restaurants in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Welshof Schliemann, is only 15 minutes away by car. The Müritz National Park is 25 km (30 min) away. Extensive forest paths and a well-developed network of cycle paths invite you to go for a walk or to explore on foot. And if the weather is not so good, the Oceanographic Museum in Stralsund, the Müritzeum in Waren, the Bird Park Marlow, the Nature and Environment Park Güstrow and many other sights invite you to visit.
