Step inside and enjoy the dreamlike tranquillity in the middle of nature directly from the terrace. Only the lively chirping of the rare bird species present with us overlays this restful tranquillity. Our stilt houses on the Seedorf campsite are located about 1 metre above the ground and are reached via a staircase. Each is individually furnished and built and completely unique. The cottage sleeps 4 with bedding in 2 sleeping lofts. A mini kitchen with glasses, crockery and cutlery, a TV and a seating area are provided. WC, showers, washing and dishwashing facilities as well as a washing machine are available in the campsite sanitary building about 40 m away. On the terrace in front with table and benches you can relax and experience nature up close. Our wonderful sandy beach with a very shallow entrance directly at the campsite is the icing on the cake for a wonderful holiday. The stilt houses are located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerow Lake Nature Park, 800 m from the German Avenue Road in a forest clearing directly on Lake Malchin. You can walk only 250 m to the large Seedorf beach on the lake. The stilt house is located in the triangle between Lake Kummerow, Lake Müritz and Lake Plauer See and lies quietly in the middle of a European bird sanctuary and landscape conservation area. If you like adventure holidays in the middle of nature, this is the place for you.

Seedorf on the large Seedorfer Strand belongs to the municipality of Basedow. Basedow, one of the most beautiful villages in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is famous for its church with one of the most important organs in northern Germany and its beautiful castle with Lenné Park in front. The bathing beach is only 150 m away. A beautiful new steakhouse in historic walls can be reached in Basedow in 5 minutes by car or in 15 minutes on foot along the cycle path through the forest. One of the best fish restaurants in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Welshof Schliemann, is only 15 minutes away by car. The Müritz National Park is 25 km (30 min) away. Extensive forest paths and a well-developed network of cycle paths invite you to go for a walk or to explore on foot. And if the weather is not so good, the Oceanographic Museum in Stralsund, the Müritzeum in Waren, the Bird Park Marlow, the Nature and Environment Park Güstrow and many other sights invite you to visit.
