Absolutely recommendable! In January 2022 I spent three weeks with my dog in the holiday apartment in Trauchgau. The apartment is furnished with great attention to detail. The living room is very cozy. The tiled stove is very easy to fire up. For me, the heating in all rooms was sufficiently warm, so I only used it from time to time. The small kitchen is perfectly equipped. The bedroom is large and sunny with lots of storage space. The bathroom is very sunny and, like the separate toilet, has a window. The terrace is covered and can be used for example for a coffee break on sunny days in winter. The apartment is on the edge of the small town and is the ideal starting point for walks or hikes. The paths are very well signposted, so you can find your way around quickly. A car is required as there are few shops in town. Very close by are the royal castles, beautiful lakes, vast plains with small hills and streams. In the distance, the higher mountains provide a spectacular backdrop. The landlady is extremely friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable and would very much like to come back.

Owner was not present on arrival. Was in hospital for one week ?! Letter to door allowed us to find the key. Mother of owner was first week present and helpful. Only after one week was explanation given by the owner about tourist benefits. On departure was no longer open even though someone was at home. Accommodation was fine but photo on the internet is not consistent with vacation, the photo shows the terrace and garden of the owner. The terrace of the holiday home is on the right side of the house with a view of the street and not of the mountains. Environment was very quiet and beautiful and in the immediate area there were plenty of opportunities to purchase food.

The cottage is suitable as a base for excursions in the area. Adequate and good eating places within walking distance. The landlords are neighbors. If there is, this is what they good at and addressed. The bedrooms are spacious, the combined kitchen-living room is small. A whole day sitting inside is doing, but not recommended. But that is not necessary because there is to do within a radius of 50 kilometers. Sufficient Walking, cycling, motorcycling, castles and old towns to visit, delicious and cheap food, with an end of the day, a comfortable house that is not on a holiday between another 100 Dutch ...
