The apartments built in 2005/6 are on the upper floor of a two storey building overlooking the village square. Each self catering apartment has a spacious lounge with a balcony giving sea views. Private car parking is provided in the underground car park.

Jardim do Mar , Madeira , Portugal

The small village of Jardim do Mar looks out to sea at the foot of spectacular cliffs. It is a 45 minute drive from the airport on the sunny southwest-facing shore. This tranquil unspoilt village of old stone houses, narrow cobbled streets and lush gardens is widely considered one of the most beautiful on the island. It is noted for its world class surfing and has two friendly bars, a restaurant, a village shop and a library offering free internet access. A new car park at the edge of the village has enabled it to be largely pedestrianised, with a 1km long seafront promenade lined with palm trees. The little harbour has a slipway for small boats and a clean pebble beach for swimming and snorkeling, with a shower and beach bar. The nearby village of Calheta (5 minute drive) has a sandy bathing beach, shops, several restaurants and a marina where whale and dolphin watching or fishing excursions can be arranged.
