Dear guests,
thank you for your interest in our holiday home, the villa "La vie est belle...!", in Cavalaire sur Mer. Our house is always well booked, think of 2024 now! The house is built in the Provençal style and is situated on a secluded, well-kept plot with lush Mediterranean vegetation. Privacy in the house, garden and pool is guaranteed. Ideal for holidays as a couple, with family or friends. Due to the panoramic position, you can enjoy the sun and the sea from the house and garden, as well as start walks directly from the house. We look forward to your enquiry and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Interior / ground floor
Under the pergola overgrown with loud little orange trumpet flowers is the entrance door. "Welcome!" You enter a small hallway. Turning first to the right, you come to two bedrooms, airy and maritime decorated in white/light blue and equipped with air conditioning:
Bedroom 1 : Double bed 180x200 cm, built-in wardrobe, 1 bedside cabinet, bedside table and reading lamps, door to the terrace
Bedroom 2: double bed 160x200 cm, wardrobe, 1 bedside cabinet, bedside table and reading lamps, cupboard, door to the terrace
Bathroom: equipped with shower and washbasin (hairdryer available).

Back in the hallway, step left through the double door and enter the kitchen and the large living room.
The kitchen in soft light blue is fully equipped:
Refrigerator/freezer, ceramic hob with bora, oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, kettle, cooking and eating utensils, glasses, cutlery are sufficiently available.
The washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as the ironing board and steam iron, are located in the small storage room next to the refrigerator.
The kitchen and living room are flooded with light due to the large number of windows and doors leading to the terrace. The living room is maritime furnished in white and light blue. Of course, there is a flatscreen TV (also German-language channels), as well as a WLAN connection at your disposal. The open fireplace can add to the cosiness in the autumn and winter months.
Interior / 1st floor
Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 1st floor.
A bathroom awaits you there, equipped with shower, washbasin and WC.
The master bedroom has a double bed 180 x 200 cm, a built-in wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets, as well as a console with flat screen TV. Here, too, the colours white and light blue determine the ambience.
The door leads to a balcony, which offers you a wonderful panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding landscape. The small table invites you to enjoy a first cup of coffee or tea while taking in the morning atmosphere.
Please bring your own bed linen, hand, shower and bath towels. There are pillowcases with the German measurements 80 x 80 cm, 40x80cm, as well as pillowcases for the French measurements 50x50 cm, and for the colder seasons blankets and duvets (140 x 200 cm). They are located in the drawers under the beds.
Outside / Garden
The 1200 m 2 property is surrounded by lush oleander.
You reach the villa via a curved driveway. When you first catch sight of the villa, it appears to be an oasis of tranquillity, situated on a sunny plateau.
The house is built in the Provencal style and conveys an airy, light and friendly impression with its typical mint-green shutters.
The terrace offers a cosy seating area. There is plenty of seating, a garden table, as well as sun loungers and a barbecue available for your stay.
Outdoor area / garden
In the well-kept garden with lawn and Mediterranean flora, which is not visible from the neighbouring properties, a beautiful heated pool (5 x 10 m) with electric cover awaits you.
The pool entrance is via steps and goes pleasantly flowing down to a depth of 1.80m
(For liability see rental conditions!).
The villa offers a lot of space and is therefore ideal for a holiday with the whole family or with friends. However, it is also very often booked by couples who enjoy the absolute privacy and tranquillity. An ideal place for every season: Not only for a seaside holiday, but thanks to the mild temperatures you can swim in the heated pool from March to November and even over the turn of the year over Christmas/New Year's Eve or winter the holiday home is often booked. The open fireplace adds to the cosy atmosphere during the cooler seasons.
The panoramic location allows you to enjoy the sun and the sea from the house or to start walks directly from the house.

Villa \"La vie est !\" is located 1300m from the main street in the hills of Cavalaire. La Rue Jean de Florette is a quiet street situated in the \"Domaine Villa Bella\".
The next shop, bakery and Restaurant you reach in 3 minutes drinving distance and 15 min. foot walk. Beaches:
The beache of Cavalaire extends over 8km, thereof are 4km fine sandy beach.
“Residence Beach” furnished beach, excellent beach restaurant, german-speaking owners.
“Pardigon beach” free beach, well-tended, chargeable parking, WC, lifeguards.
Shopping:
Many little shops at the harbour and in the village and a big supermarket named „Carrefour“ are the possibilities you have in Cavalaire. Cheaper with even a bigger offer (especially fish and sea-fruits) is „Geant“ at the crossways of Gassin.

Port Grimaud –the french Venice – was constructed at 1966 from the French architect Francois Spoerry. He realized the dream of a boat-wharf in front of the door. Meanwhile Port Grimaud developed an idyllic fishing village.
St. Tropez:

Trip through the chestnut and oak tree forest till Collobrières very peaceful village, try there some chestnut-mousse and the delicious honey.
Visit the castle of Grimaud up there you have an overwhelming view on the bay, also do a little walk through the little village Grimaud.
Trips along the Cote d\'Azur:
Grasse – the birthplace of perfume, do a walk through the historic centre and visit the museum of Fragonard where alluring fragrances surround you and you can also buy perfume there quite cheap.
Aix en provence – university town, well-known by the artist Paul Cézanne, beautiful fontains, shady alleys, large places, elegant city, try the world-famous „Callissons“-a sweet speciality made with marzipan.
Poquerolles, Ile Port Cros, Ile de Levant –are a little group of islands in front of Hyéres, also named „L’Iles d’Or“.
To get there take a ferry from Hyéres or Le Lavandou, or little daytrip-boats directly from Cavalaire harbor.

About us
We come from Austria, more precisely from Westendorf in Tyrol, have three grown-up children and three grandchildren.
For 30 years, with a few interruptions, we have come to know and love Cavalaire and the surrounding area as a holiday destination.
During our first stay in Port Grimaud, we already preferred the beach of Cavalaire because of its fine sand and the distinctive bay, which invites you to go for a walk.
In the summer of 2013, we rented a holiday home in Cavalaire again to spend our holidays there with the whole family and finally to realise our long-awaited dream: " a house on the Cote d'Azur ! "
We had read so many novels and experience reports from people who had already taken this step before us.
We were curious to see how we would fare and approached our new phase of life with a great deal of joy.
The lady from whom we bought the house said:
"Happiness was always at home here!" - "Un lieu de bonheur!"
In the meantime, we already have many regular guests.
And so we wish you a pleasant stay and a relaxing, unforgettable holiday!

A house to fall in love with
A very lovingly furnished house and very nice hosts. It completely met our expectations. The house is quietly situated on a hill with a view of the sea. No shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. A car is recommended.

Dream house with sensational view
We spent a wonderful week here with grandparents and our 3 children. The house is very well equipped, tastefully furnished and very clean. We didn't want for anything! We immediately felt incredibly comfortable and enjoyed our time here very much. The view from the terrace and the garden is simply a dream. You can admire the wonderful sunrises and sunsets and sit comfortably on the terrace or in the pretty lounge area in the garden. The contact with the landlady was also very warm and friendly! You immediately notice that there is a lot of heart in this house. We will be very happy to come back

Great holiday home
We stayed in this great house for 8 days.
Everything was furnished very lovingly and to a high standard. Super nice landlords, whom we met by chance on our way to the house.

So beautiful! Super nice house with all comforts, great landlady, brilliant quiet location.
So beautiful! Super nice house with all the comforts, great landlady, brilliantly quiet location. And then this great interior of the villa, so bright, so Mediterranean, friendly, loving and and and ..... I could list many more details.... And spotlessly clean, we were able to settle in comfortably from the first second and didn't have to do any cleaning work first, and we were able to enjoy our holiday from the very first moment! Well, and that's exactly what we did. We will come back to this wonderful house.
