Description
The villa was equipped with new high-quality mattresses for the 2019 season.
For the 2020 season, the kitchen was partially renovated with a new sink, oven and... There are new windows with fly screens throughout the house and the bedrooms also have shutters. The pool has been equipped with stairs and tiled.
Villa Sifina has a living area of approx. 90 m² and is suitable for 4-5 people ( 5th person on extra bed). The villa has been furnished with great attention to detail and guarantees a high level of living comfort. All rooms have wooden beamed ceilings and the walls are partly decorated with stone pictures and stone niches. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped Alno kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle, which is separated from the living room by an arch. In the living room you will find TV with satellite reception (approx. 50 German channels), stereo with CD player, DVD, DVD`s, books and games. The living room and the kitchen are equipped with air conditioning. Internet is available via WLAN. It is very comfortably furnished. Through a passage you reach the bathroom, which is equipped with shower/WC, bidet, large washstand and hairdryer. There is also a bedroom (1xDB) with AC, TV and built-in wardrobe with safe. A staircase leads to the 1st floor where there is another bedroom (1x DB) with built-in wardrobe and TV and AC. Next to the bedroom upstairs is a toilet with washbasin. From this bedroom you have access to the upper terrace ( approx. 35 m²), which is equipped with high-quality sunbeds, parasol and table with chairs. Half of it is covered by a pergola. Further comfort is provided by underfloor heating (payment on site), which makes the house also interesting for long-term holidaymakers in the colder months. In addition, the villa is of course equipped with bathrobes, towels, shower towels and bed linen. (Baby cot and high chair available if needed. There are mosquito nets on all windows. The bedrooms have shutters.
A washing machine, ironing board and iron are also available.
The house is cleaned once a week, twice a week if requested. In the garden there is an approx. 35 m² swimming pool with sunbeds, parasols and a terrace with garden furniture, as well as an outdoor shower. There is a folder in the villa for information on massages etc
Enjoy your morning exercise on the large roof terrace. The villa is equipped with a yoga mat. If desired, Mira, the yoga teacher, can be booked and will be happy to come to your villa.

Location and surroundings of object
This stone house built in traditional style is located on the outskirts of the old picturesque village of Prines, about 5 km from the town of Rethymnon. It is situated on a plot of approx. 500 m² with a wonderful view of the sea and the White Mountains
You can reach the nearest beach after about 3 km. The south of Crete is just 30 minutes away. Prines is situated above the bay of Rethymnon. If you drive on the old national road from Rethymnon to Prines, you will first pass through the larger neighbouring village of Atsipopoulo. Many Rethymnon residents have built their family homes there, and numerous shops and other commercial enterprises have settled there. If you drive from Atsipopoulo to Prines, you will find the taverna "Giannikos" on the right-hand side, which also serves as a kafenion. This also includes the tables and chairs on the small, cosy village square right next to it, which is shaded by some large trees. Just opposite is the smaller of Prines' two mini-markets. The old village centre is behind the taverna "Giannikos". If you continue along the old national road for 100 m in the direction of Georgioupolis, you will see Antonis' taverna "The Olive" on the right-hand side. Here you can enjoy daily Greek dishes prepared by mum and served by Antonis. There is also a cosy morning pint here. Almost opposite is the larger of the two mini-markets and the local civic office. At the end of the village there is a petrol station and a butcher's shop on the right. The neighbouring village of Atsipopoulo has almost all the shops you could wish for within easy reach. There is a bus connection from the village.

This is staggered by category and season: The fee from March 1st - October 31st is €10.00/night per villa and from November 1st - February 29th it is €4.00/night, regardless of the number of guests. The amount can be transferred to us before arrival, or paid in cash, or with Visa or Master card. |
