The sea is normally warm and a delight for swimmers. Excursions are available to many tourist attractions. Avsallar is situated just a few miles from one of the largest water parks in Turkey and has we believe one of the very best beaches. Avsallar is quite a modern town with shops, restaurants etc. all well arranged and very clean. Allanya is a city which boasts its medieval castle situated high up on a hill seperating the marina area and the famous Cleopatra beach and there is a regular bus service from Avsallar to Alanya day and night. The Wednesday market, just a short walk away, is large and should not be missed. There is a variety of bars and restaurants close by with good night life also in the town. There are also plenty of shops to keep you occupied with several mini markets open twenty four hours.
