The cottage was clean upon arrival, with its own parking space in front of the garage and its own path, so one had privacy. The cottage is quite small, optimal for 2 people; it becomes difficult with more. It consists of a bathroom, kitchenette, and an open living, dining, and sleeping area. There are two beds, a sofa, and a folding bed. (Thus, space for up to 4 people) Those who like to cook a lot on vacation should possibly look for another accommodation, as the kitchen is not designed for "large cooking." Since we mostly ate on the go and "only" had breakfast or dinner at the accommodation, it worked for us. We were there in February, so it was a cool 19°C in the cottage. The landlord lives in the house next door. Very friendly and approachable for problems, but we didn't have any issues in that regard. The cottage is not far from the water. There are plenty of shopping options in the area. "Recommendations: Vaxholm is very worth seeing. During the week, it is rather quiet there. The house is a 10-minute drive from Vaxholm, and there is a bus in the town that goes directly to Stockholm (there is a free parking lot across from the bus stop at the entrance of the town), or you can take the ferry. We highly recommend the ferry ride from Stockholm to Vaxholm. For little money, you see more of the archipelago than if you book an expensive tour with a guide. Otherwise, we visited the nature reserve right in the area, which invites long hikes.

"Everything very good for people who want peace. The key handover was not good. What is an 'Aussendeck'?? In the description it said 'located on the house corridor'. But there was nothing here. Fortunately, we spent the first night upstairs in the attic as we discovered the hatch. Neither anyone was reachable at the emergency number nor at DanCenter itself to help us here. That was very bad."
