This was the second time we stayed in the small village of Vale near Sibiu in a holiday home owned by Werner Konnerth. He picked us up from the airport and brought us back again. The village is in a very idyllic location at the foot of the Carpathians. The properties are lovingly restored farmhouses that lack nothing. There were four of us in "Casa Crina" and we had a lot of space, both in the house (each room has its own bathroom) and in the garden and on the beautiful terrace. Werner and his team were always available for us and provided us with delicious products from the village (cheese, honey, tuica (plum brandy) and wine. They also provide breakfast and dinner on request. Vale is a good starting point for excursions, for example to Sibiu, to the famous fortified churches and to the Carpathians, where you can hike beautifully through the mountains, which are not yet covered with ski lifts. The Dacia we rented with us took us safely everywhere. We have already decided that this will not be our last stay in Vale.

Very nice holiday home!

Casa Pelu is a lovingly furnished little house, we felt very comfortable! A good and clean kitchen, (hiking) maps, even a well-equipped medicine cabinet (fortunately we didn't need any of that!) can be found. The intensive conversations and good care with and by the manager, Nicu, who lives next door, rounded off the satisfaction.
