With its intricate layout and spaciousness, the fortress invites you to linger and explore. Hohenzollern Castle is the ancestral seat of the Prussian-Brandenburg line of the House of Hohenzollern. It is one of the most visited and beautiful castles in Europe. The panoramic view over the Swabian Alb is absolutely breathtaking. Schloss Lichtenstein is also called the "fairy-tale castle of Württemberg" and is perched at an elevation of 817 meters above the town of Honau.
