The cleanliness should be better; a final cleaning costs 95.- euros. The furnishings are minimal. The beds with the mattress and a couch in the living area are already very worn. Good sleeping is not possible, and being comfortable on the couch is not given. Only one towel for a week is a bit little for guests who do not shower adequately. Towels have to be brought along. The laundry package costs 25.- per guest. Otherwise, it is okay. The garage is good. Nice landlord, nice reception.

Crone is the center of the Idro municipality in Northern Italy. Here you will find nice alleys and medieval-looking, unique squares with restaurants, cafes, and shops for daily life. The church of San Michele Arcangelo is worth seeing. In the municipality of Anfo on the western shore of the lake, a visit to the fortress Rocca d’Anfo on the slope of Monte Censo is worthwhile. The impressive building dates back to the 15th century and was built by the Venetians. Napoleon Bonaparte expanded the complex into the largest Napoleonic fortress in Italy. A short walk leads from there to the parish church of St. Anthony and to a small chapel on the mountain. Another fortress, Cima Ora, dates back to the First World War. At Easter, Pentecost, and during the main season from June to September, the lake can be enjoyed from aboard an excursion boat. The unique Idro Lake measures about 11 km² and is ten kilometers long, making it significantly smaller than Lake Garda and still considered an insider tip. Numerous water sports are available here. A surf school offers beginner courses and rents equipment. Stand-up paddling can be combined with cliff jumping, and pedal boats, sailboats, and sports catamarans can be rented. Many kilometers of hiking trails run around the lake, which are much quieter than at Lake Garda. The insider tip character is noticeable here. From the district of Cone, climbing tours lead to the Cima Crench. If you have the stamina and strength, climb 400 meters steeply up to the summit cross. Another tour leads from Vesta to Bondone. From there, you can return by public boat in summer and enjoy the view from the water of the completed stage. Also, take a trip to Pieve Vecchia, Lemprato, Vantone, Ponte Caffaro or Iseo Lake.
