Holiday apartments and houses in Offingawier

We had a really great vacation on this beautiful, very modern and tastefully furnished houseboat. The boat has truly everything you need, everything has been thought of, we felt at home. Another highlight is the sauna, which we particularly enjoyed in bad weather. You have a panoramic view of the Sneekermeer, and there is always something to see. Overall, a very special feeling. The landscape around is beautiful and the town of Sneek has a very special charm! We will definitely come back️?

The houseboat is cozy and well-equipped inside. Everything necessary is there. The cleanliness inside is also fine. However, the outdoor area has not been cleaned for a long time. Many cobwebs and bird droppings make it uninviting to sit there. Despite a direct complaint upon arrival, only a very superficial cleaning was done on the terrace in front of the entrance. No improvements were made on the rooftop terrace at all. That is very unfortunate and slightly dampens the feel-good character of this really great houseboat in a very beautiful location.

Our stay was generally pleasant, but there were issues at check-in because no one was present. The provided phone number only led to a voicemail that promised someone would come quickly, but no one appeared. The hotline was also unhelpful and did not call back, despite previous agreements. Fortunately, the owner of the nearby restaurant was able to connect us with the actual owner so we could open the key safe. This took about 2.5 hours. The apartment is part of a house with three other units, which was not entirely clear from the photos. However, it was very clean and tastefully decorated, close to a good restaurant with a beach bar. From the terrace, there is a view of the harbor, and you are just a few steps from the lake. Unfortunately, the wifi did not work, although it was advertised, but it should be working soon - frustrating for us. A car is needed for shopping, but parking was hassle-free.
