Pure peace and relaxation

We had the pleasure of enjoying an 8-day hiking holiday in this great vacation rental. Everything is just perfect here. Very nice, accommodating hosts, ultra-clean apartment furnished with a lot of taste, and a good starting point for hikes in nature. Arriving and feeling comfortable was the motto. Everything was really there, from color-coordinated dishes, lunch boxes, selectable pillow sizes, a well-stocked drink fridge, cozy blankets for a comfortable time on the sofa, toilet paper, and other consumables. There were no wishes left unfulfilled. And if there were, help was provided immediately. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the apartment 100%. If you want to hike and are okay with short drives to great circular trails, this is the perfect place. In addition, 2 terraces invite you to linger and relax. Everything is top-notch.

We spent our extended weekend at Patricia's holiday home in Bad Bertrich. It was a wonderful break for us! :-) Upon arrival, there was a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate on the table. Although we checked in independently, contact with Patricia was always possible and very friendly. The house is very clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, bowls were provided for our dog, the mattresses are firm (but not too hard), and the towels were fluffy & thick. You can tell that Patricia values quality. The candles, pictures, and other decorative items give the house a personal and perfectly cozy touch. In the mornings, we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and planned our day. We are from near Düsseldorf, and the landscape around Bad Bertrich was simply fantastic. Germany's most beautiful hiking route for 2023, the HeimatSpur Waterfall Experience Route, is definitely worth a hike. In Bad Bertrich itself, there were various restaurants/bars, but we preferred to stay in our cozy cottage. Thank you, Patricia! We would love to come back.

We can wholeheartedly recommend both the Sonnenblume vacation apartment and the Vulkaneifel. Those who haven't been here yet, have missed something.
