Perfect holiday home not only for a short getaway

The holiday home accommodates 4 people (2 bedrooms with TV), WiFi, different living areas (a reading gallery at the top, below it the kitchen with dining area, and further down the seating area with a large TV. A very spacious shower room (with towel radiator) and a winter garden with additional seating complete the living spaces. The kitchen equipment is comprehensive, and the furniture is of high quality and tasteful. The location in the Marquesa urbanization on Montgo above Denia offers a lot of tranquility, away from the urban "beach hustle and bustle" yet with quick access to the urban amenities. We had sunny weather throughout with temperatures between 25° at the beginning of November and 16° at the end of December. You can follow the sun from the back to the front terrace during the day. We only used the fantastic (unheated) pool at the beginning due to water temperatures (starting at 19°, later only 15°). The property is completely fenced for security, with a lockable garage for a car or bikes/eBikes. There is a separate room for the gas heating system and a washing machine. In addition, the bedrooms and the kitchen/living room can be heated with the inverter air conditioning units. During our stay, this was only necessary in the evenings in December, and the gas heating was not needed at all. Perfect for sporty people: Mastering the partly steep cycle routes from Denia! From the house, you can directly access the mountain hiking area on Montgo with a short walk. The house is only partially wheelchair accessible due to the various steps and stairs. In addition to the beautiful property, the comprehensive personal service of the landlords is noteworthy! And a very friendly neighbor on the right who likes to leave some of his garden fruits on the wall! For us, a perfect place for a quiet and sunny winter vacation! And the price is right too!

Once and..... again!

The house is located in a very quiet, beautiful residential area. Despite the quiet location, you can quickly reach the city, in Denia, by car. Shopping options, such as Consum and Lidl, are even quicker to reach. And of course, there are a few super nice restaurants nearby. The enclosed property has space for at least one car. Inside the house, everything is spotless, very tastefully furnished, and you feel completely at home from the first minute. Around the house, there are numerous spots for lounging, etc. The pool is always clean and is maintained by an almost invisible house spirit, as is the entire property. As already mentioned: Once and... again and again!

Wonderful holiday!

One can only say that Villa Barbara is amazing, even small details one would not expect were all there; one felt totally comfortable...

Weekly markets were very easily accessible, 10-15 km/h away from the house. We were in Pego and the next town, Oliva, simply beautiful :)

Supermarkets are 7 minutes away: Mercadona & Aldi, everything nice and close, as well as a Farmacia (pharmacy). Shopping could be done nearby, in the town of Ondara/Alicante, very nice and large shopping center Portal DE La Marina. 26 min. away.

The beach in the town of Olivia is also a dream, very clean and beautiful.

A detour to Denia by car takes 35 min; it's 45 min to Moraira.
The great restaurant Grizzly Bear in Moraira is a must, very, very delicious there, and of course the beach promenade of Moraira.

We can only recommend Villa Barbara, we've been to Costa Blanca many times, but the ambiance, and especially the peace and quiet, is simply heavenly there.
