We have been going to the Hailfinger family's holiday home for years, mostly with a dog. This time our 9-month-old Irmi was with us, her first vacation. We consciously chose this place; it is perfect. The house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything has really been thought of. We keep discovering great new features in and around the house. After a nice hiking tour that starts right at the house, it is excellent to relax in the sauna and on one of the two terraces. The property is not fenced, and in our opinion, it doesn't need to be. One of the two terraces is closed, so the dog can move freely there. We look forward to our next stay here... and Irmi too?

We had four wonderful days at the Brestenberg vacation house with (7 adults & 4 children). The spacious bedrooms delighted everyone, and our four granddaughters aged 6-9 really enjoyed the house and the fantastic, generous garden. Everything was sparkling clean! The house was lovingly decorated even with fresh flowers, there are books, games, and our girls even found a small dollhouse. Rackets and balls were next to the table tennis table in the basement! Simply great! The spacious kitchen is also impressive, where many people can move around at the same time – and the amount of kitchen appliances, cutlery, glasses, plates, and cups! However, in our case, the kitchen equipment also had to meet the demands of a professional chef. And when you operate the kitchen at full capacity, an additional induction plate for the 4-burner stove or a really large pot/pan would be wonderful! Otherwise, we were very impressed by the high standard of cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, and the tasteful decor, the toys offered, including a table tennis table and a foosball table. We also liked the beautiful old cabinets. In this house, you can have a great time even in bad weather! The tile stove and the sauna come into play more then. Don’t forget your bathrobe!

We found the location very good. Freudenstadt, Schiltach, the Dorotheenhütte, or the Bear Park, everything is reachable within a maximum of 45 minutes. The small Aischfeld waterfall just 3 km away occupied our children for an entire afternoon - but the Magic Land in Loßburg also brings joy to children.

Everything was there except for a regular coffee machine. The mattresses were very good. Otherwise, it was plain and simple. What was not so good were the paths; the distances indicated were completely inaccurate.
