Upon our arrival, the tone was set, concern for electricity and heating. A technician came and fixed the issue except that it was 11°C outside and 8°C inside. The windows were open in the rooms, in this weather, it did not favor optimal warming of them... We stayed from the 23rd to the 26th (morning), after two days, it was only 18°C in the house and 16°C in the rooms that did not have supplementary heating, so to say that washing in the bathroom was not easy! Moreover, the kitchen equipment was in a deplorable state of dirtiness, we had to scrub everything in order to use the kitchen utensils, glasses, and so on... In the end, out of the 20 people who stayed, we all got sick! I find that financial compensation would be quite normal, especially since we left the cottage much cleaner than we found it. . .

The cottage itself was okay. Unfortunately, the dishwasher broke down and we first had to try to solve this ourselves, but eventually a technician came who quickly resolved the issue. However, the worst part was not so much the stay but the financial settlement. We were supposed to receive an email a week in advance with a request to pay the deposit. That email never came, but a message with the payment request to get the door code, but not a week in advance, but while we were on our way! All still okay, but now I keep not getting the 500 euros deposit back and also no response at all. Now I’ve involved Belvilla myself, but I’m curious. I had already booked the accommodation for next year, but I think I will cancel it as soon as I can find something else without fireworks on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, that was also not okay. The neighbors thought it necessary to set off fireworks all evening. The whole reason for us to come here was to avoid fireworks for our dogs. Unfortunately, there was panic among them all evening. Of course, the owner can do nothing about this.

The house was clean but urgently needs maintenance. The faucet in the shower upstairs is broken. You need two hands to open the faucet + the faucet in the kitchen is loose (according to reviews since January and still not repaired). The garden is overgrown. What was missing: children's playground equipment (only the frame of the swing is left) and nothing else, there is no dryer present. The BBQ was there, but still full of ash from the previous tenants. The fence of the terrace is not sturdy: it moves when you touch it... The wood of the terrace urgently needs treatment and the bushes also need trimming: they hang over the outside stairs and terrace. Also, thorn bushes present... Vacuum cleaner foot dirty and smelly odor from vacuum cleaner: urgently clean... Also, the gutter and window frames full of webs... Definitely not worth repeating.
