We were four people with our two miniature dachshunds over Pentecost in the Fairy Tale Forest in the Witch's Cottage. - The house met all our expectations. It is functional and very space-efficiently furnished (the star rating is based on the fact that the description corresponds to the cottage, which may not be a palace) and fits perfectly into the magical surroundings. - Staying high up under the pointed roof is a real experience for children and young at heart. The older ones will find a bed that can be reached without stairs in the adjoining building (the stairs in the main house are steep). - If you travel with eleven people, you should get along well, it might be a bit cozy then? - But you can see from the size information in the ad beforehand.  To be highlighted are the absolutely reliable accessibility of the administrators, the very good support by the landlord in advance (no questions remain unanswered, the answers come very quickly, and so you can find the cottage "at the end of the world" even without outside help) and the uncomplicated and guest-friendly solution-oriented approach to concerns. We would like to thank the Smrz family and Mr. Seps very much for our little time out! PS. The Landštejn Castle with its restaurant is by far the most beautiful castle we have ever visited!

Everything you need is there.
The swimming pool, sauna and barbecue area were particularly busy.
Even though there has always been something like a burst water pipe. Or a siege of wasps
( which will probably always happen in a house in the forest)
The friendly landlord and his caretakers have tried very hard to solve every problem as quickly as possible.
So we had a wonderful time
Not to forget the two masseurs who came to the house and massaged us at a very moderate price :-)
And we will definitely be back :-) .

In May 2011, we invited a total of 16 guests to celebrate a birthday. The house was thus "occupied" with 11 at the beginning and later with a total of 18 people. It will remain an unforgettable week for all of us. The landlord helped us with the preparation of the birthday by offering us different possibilities (restaurant recommendation or buffet in the house) and also by arranging them. We were also able to book a certified masseur in advance, who came to the house at the agreed times. On arrival we thought we were lost when the road led through the middle of the forest. The location of the house in a clearing in the forest, with a view over meadows and woods, surprised us. The beautiful landscape made it possible to find the desired peace and quiet as well as to enjoy barbecue evenings and hikes together. In the warm May weather, a dip in the pool was also fun. All in all, the house was just right for 11 adults, with 18 adults it got a bit cramped, as no one actually wanted to use the mattress dormitory (steep stairs and, as usual, low head height). For children, however, this is certainly an additional attraction.
The house is very well maintained and also has the necessary equipment for larger groups. The manager was also very friendly and made sure everything was in order. The birthday party in the restaurant of Landsteijn Castle was a complete success and very lovingly prepared, not least due to the personal commitment of the landlord. Our guests still have fond memories of the wonderful time they spent together in the Czech Republic. WE CAN ONLY RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION!
