Our stay at Le Pradal was not so successful this time. The area is beautiful and you can make beautiful walks. The tranquility is indescribable. The cottage was a disappointment for us because it is so dark inside with poor lighting. Not to mention the very uncomfortable "seats". Two old cots with a lot of pillows. A failed attempt to create a minimal form of comfort. It's impossible to sit there all night reading. We had addressed the owner about it, but he only thought it was a pity. It is spotless with plenty of towels. The owner has another cottage in Rougeac not far from where we stayed for a fortnight in 2018 and had a wonderful time. That is highly recommended.

we were here for two weeks as a family, the reception took some time, we were at the house at the agreed time, but no one was present. We waited in the heat for at least 45 minutes for someone to come.
When we were finally able to enter we were given a range of things to take into account and what not to do.
Showering was a horror, you had to stand in the bath to shower and the water actually sprayed in every direction except down.
the house was very beautiful from the outside, the garden was a real battlefield of yellow grass and dried out bushes, in the living room there was enormous wicker furniture that you could not sit properly in, and after sitting on it I sat under the flea stings.
the bedrooms looked nice, the beds were good, but the floor was as crooked as it could be in some places, getting out of bed took some time to stay upright and the floor creaked like crazy when there was something in the During the night someone had to go to the toilet and the whole house was immediately awake.
shops or bakery or something where you can drink or eat are not to be found for miles, for a sandwich in the morning you first had to drive half an hour by car, there is nothing to do in the entire area, everything you have to do by car do car.
you cannot park the car at the house, you have to park it at the bottom of a huge slope and then you have to climb over a piece of rock to reach the entrance to the house, very dangerous if it has rained or if you have a bit of difficulty If you are on your feet, we have already slipped there twice.
and you have to be very careful whether you get your deposit back, there was a hail storm during our holiday, the parasol was blown to pieces, we had reported this properly and were immediately held liable for the damage, we were not there at the time once present at the house and the parasol was folded as it has always been, we think the owners want to make a profit from it
