A holiday castle...

... but unfortunately, we had to bring our own castle dog...

The gastronomy in the Allgäu region is excellent, but this beautiful kitchen, the center of the vacation apartment in this, from the impression, massive house/castle, inspired us to cook together more often than planned. Potatoes from the field next door and eggs from free-range chickens on the property were an added bonus.
We greatly enjoyed this vacation and would like to thank our hostess once again for her patience, calmly and thoughtfully answering all of our questions (and there were many ;-)

Unique vacation apartment.

We felt immediately comfortable in this unique holiday apartment. The description and pictures already caught our attention. We enjoyed the cozy and bright kitchen-living room. We also had several nice conversations with the very friendly hosts. It cannot be ruled out that we will book this exceptional holiday apartment again. Due to the nature and history of the building, this is certainly a special holiday flat.
The design and furnishings of the large rooms spread the charm of earlier stately homes.
The location and view of the house is fantastic. The landlords are very friendly and caring. The available daily fresh eggs from free-range chickens enrich the morning breakfast in the spacious and modern equipped kitchen.
The high rooms provide coolness on hot summer days.
