Apartment to feel comfortable and relax

Apart from the tight parking space, it is an almost perfect holiday home for people who simply want to relax, on the other hand, there is still a lot on offer on site. The ground floor apartment is ideal for families with smaller children with wheelchairs (apart from the bathroom). Everything you need for cooking and feeling good is available. The beach is typical of Croatia, but pleasant with the Mocca Bar, which offers everything in a cool, relaxed setting. In any case, we spent very nice days there.

Great family holiday in autumn

The apartment is located in the south of the island of Krk, from where the surrounding villages can be easily reached by car.
It is very cosy and perfectly equipped. The outdoor kitchen and the large, covered terrace with sea view were used daily and invite you to linger (??).
The communication with Fam. Bornemann and the advance information about the house and the surroundings were very helpful!

Fantastic flat

We have stayed in many holiday homes and flats, but we have never had accommodation that was as perfectly equipped as this one: No matter what you could think of, you could be sure that it was available! We enjoyed the beautiful terrace with the fantastic view extensively. The mosquito screens on all the windows were very helpful, as there were greedy mosquitoes every evening. The walk to the bay was always worthwhile, be it to swim in the crystal clear water or to have something to eat or drink in one of the nice bars. The way back, however, is very steep! The communication with Mr. Bornemann was absolutely reliable and friendly, the handing over of the keys worked smoothly and was a matter of a few minutes.
We would have one small suggestion for improvement: A washing machine would be very practical. But since it was clear that there was no washing facility, we could adjust accordingly.

We had a great week in this fantastic flat and on the island and would book with the Bornemann family again any time!

Absolutely recommendable!!!

We immediately felt at home. The facilities are simply top-notch! Everything your heart desires. The outdoor kitchen is really very practical. The location is also great. We explored many great spots on the island of Krk. And it was never far to go anywhere. The sea is also quite close. We mostly chose the left side of the bay as it was much less crowded. We will remember this vacation fondly and definitely recommend the holiday apartment.

Beautiful apartment with a fantastic location!

Very nice and clean apartment rented out by the extremely friendly and helpful Bornemann family. We were greeted with a bottle of beer (?) and chips and a small folder with all the information about the apartment and the island. There is a small game collection with something for everyone. Translators and tourism maps are also available. From the terrace, you can directly see the sea, and the location is very quiet and relaxing. However, I would recommend having a car to easily access shopping opportunities, as some are a 10-minute drive away. Turning right twice and then left once will take you directly to the beach. There, you can park your car right by the beach lounge, allowing you to have a perfect view and a very short walk. The water is crystal clear and turquoise-blue, simply stunning! Swimming shoes are recommended as it is a pebble beach, which is why the water is so clear. We were there in late summer and always got a beach and parking spot at any time of day. The apartment feels like home. Walked in and felt comfortable right away! Insect nets are installed on all windows and doors. There is air conditioning in the living room/kitchen and in the bathroom. In the bathroom hangs the boiler, which should always be turned on before showering, unless you are a cold shower person ;) The shower has two functions: rain and standard, which can also run simultaneously. Towels are provided, but you should bring your own for the beach.

I can only agree with the previous speakers (tenants). It is a top accommodation as described, we have absolutely nothing to complain about ;-) Having fly screens and air conditioning is simply great. The contact with the landlord was extremely uncomplicated and nice.

All you need.

Facilities, location, cleanliness - nothing to complain about everything. Despite booking at short notice, everything worked perfectly.
Especially the insect protection and the outdoor shower have proven to be valuable services.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

We stayed in the lower holiday apartment in June 2020... really great furnishings... very clean... the equipment leaves nothing to be desired... the covered terrace with the outdoor kitchen is amazing... we only cooked outside... the beach is also not far away... we had our bicycles with us (thankfully e-bikes) and explored the area... the communication with our landlords was great. Despite Corona, there were no problems with the arrival. There is no mask requirement in Croatia, but we felt very safe. At the entrances of shops or restaurants, there is hand sanitizer everywhere. Even at the market in Krk town, we felt safe. The islands of Rab and Cres are worth a day trip. We would love to come back.

We come back to Pinezići

The current situation requires it, I would like to make a few points about Corona regarding our vacation:
- Thanks to the very good communication with the Bornemann family, we were never left hanging at any point regarding our vacation this year.
- In Croatia, things are a bit more relaxed (no mandatory masks, "only" hand sanitizer at restaurant/shop entrances).
- Arrival and departure (borders Austria, Slovenia, Croatia) without any problems.

On to the essentials - Our amazing vacation 2020 - We will gladly come back:
- The village of Pinezići: We were there for the first time in this village/apartment. The place is very quiet, the people friendly. It's just under 400 meters to the water, a few more steps and you'll find two beach bars inviting you to linger. If you don't want to lie on the pebble beach, you can rent beach loungers at a reasonable price.

- The holiday apartment: It's not a typical holiday apartment. You can tell that the Bornemann family often stays here for long periods themselves. The apartment is lovingly furnished and modernly renovated. The outdoor kitchen made sure that we never cooked inside. The large terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the neighboring island of Cres promises relaxed evenings. In the neighboring village of Skrpčići, there is the restaurant Konoba-Pizzerija Ivinčić. Highly recommended and for us the best food on Krk!

- The island of Krk: We are visiting this island for the second time. This time we brought our bicycles. They are e-bikes - recommended for the hilly terrain of Krk! The city of Krk with its harbor is very picturesque. For day trips, the neighboring islands are recommended - accessible via ferries from the town of Valbiska. A tour to Cres or Rab is definitely worth it.

- The landlords: The Bornemann family always provided us with good information and were always reachable for questions. Thank you very much!

Again: We would love to come back!

Everything just perfect

We had already stayed in the upper apartment and now we found out that the lower one is also beautiful. The furnishings are very well-maintained and aesthetic. Everything you need and even more is there... The apartment is very clean! The view is beautiful and the beach with its crystal-clear water and many shady spots is a dream. The Bornemann family provides great tips and is always available for questions. We had a great, relaxing, and rejuvenating holiday!!!

Simply perfect

We have never seen such a perfectly equipped holiday flat. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The flat is lovingly and at the same time very practically furnished. You immediately feel very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the terrace with a wonderful view. It is wonderfully quiet at night. The mosquito nets on all the windows prevent unwelcome guests from disturbing your sleep - another luxury that few flats have. The handing over of the keys was totally uncomplicated and on the way. The tips and advice from the landlords leave no questions unanswered. We can only warmly recommend this accommodation.

Leaves nothing to be desired!

We had a great two weeks in the flat. The flat leaves nothing to be desired, everything you need was there. Very clean, great location and on very hot days the air conditioning system was a lifesaver. We can only recommend the flat. Krk and the flat are definitely worth a visit! See you next time!

Dream holiday 5*****

For the third time on Krk and for the first and not last time in this great apartment. We felt at home, which was mainly due to the loving furnishing in detail, very clean and wonderfully equipped. We didn't want for anything here. Good mattresses for a restful sleep
The contact with the landlords also went smoothly. We were well informed in advance about the procedure and also about the conditions on site

The location is great, 5 minutes walk to the beach with its great Mocca Bar (food, drink and service top)

Good restaurants nearby. Also a recommendable fruit and vegetable shop at the roundabout in the direction of Malinska

We were there with our boat. The arrangements with the harbour operators also went smoothly

All in all, highly recommended.

Pure relaxation

The flight from Hanover was quick, I booked a rental car from home (the counter opens at exactly 7 a.m.) and on the way to the flat I went shopping at the fruit and vegetable shop (delicious). I liked the flat very much, view of the sea, outdoor kitchen invites you to a breakfast buffet and barbecue, furnishings tip top, in the bedroom a few more hooks could be attached. It is not far to the beach and the water is unique. The bars also offer very tasty food. Excursions to Basca or Malinska are worthwhile. THANK YOU for a wonderful time. We will come back in summer..... (unfortunately mixed up with the flat above, sorry)

You have to go there. In the END, I couldn't write anymore, probably used up my quota of letters. ;-)

The apartment equipment is fantastic, everything that a woman has at home is there. This is pure luxury. Even the smallest details like a selection of basic spices, sugar, salt, tea lights, napkins, small drink bottles, take-away Tupperware, etc. were considered. I have never seen such a perfect equipment in any holiday flat ;-)

The furnishings are modern, the beds comfortable, and the shower is amazing. In the living room, there may be a small table missing in front of the sofa. We then repurposed the bench with a tray on top, which was quite comfortable, as our legs also found space, :-)

In the bedroom, I missed a nightstand (I wear glasses), unfortunately, due to space constraints in one bedroom, it is not possible to install one, as it would prevent the closet door from opening. Showering in the shower is enjoyable, however, the water supply is only sufficient for 2 persons, then it needs to be reheated, which happens fairly quickly. The view from the terrace (as in the photo) is great, unfortunately, we could not enjoy it except once as we had a colder week. . . . . too bad, would have loved to cook outside in the outdoor kitchen. . . . . we'll do that next time*******
Price/performance ratio, in our opinion, completely justified for the equipment. However, if one could blame the landlord for the weather... laugh... I would suggest a deduction... big smile...

The service was very good, when we arrived around 9 pm, the beds were made, it was aired out, and lights were on... Thank you.

The location... that is interesting, as everyone has a different perception. For me, being lung ill, the way to the bathing bay would be too strenuous, as it is not reachable on foot in 5 minutes because it goes downhill and uphill, both the way there and back. However, by car, it's fantastic, and there were enough parking spaces available. The bathing bay is really great, the water fantastic, the view from there unique.

Wunderschönes Feriendomicil

Thank you for a great week in a holiday apartment lovingly decorated down to the smallest details! All our wishes were fulfilled, the landlords are easily reachable and gave us some interesting excursion destinations to visit. We felt very comfortable, and a week was too short for us to truly explore the beautiful island thoroughly. Beautiful, clean beach near the house, and the sea view priceless.
