Super holiday home, very well equipped in a quiet and beautiful location.

Strandslag 262 is excellently and modernly equipped.
We perceived the house as very clean and well-maintained.
The extensive kitchen equipment also allowed for good self-catering.

Upon arrival, a binder with helpful tips about the house, park, and surroundings was ready for us.
The holiday home is located in a nice area of the park, and you can quickly reach the park exit and start your beach walk immediately after crossing the road and dune. Upon arriving at the beach, you pass directly by the first beach pavilion, with the next one following after 1.5 km.

It is particularly noteworthy that we were allowed to use the bicycles provided by the landlords. The many bike paths invite enjoyable tours along the dunes.

Communication with the landlords was very friendly and completely straightforward. We always received quick and helpful responses to our inquiries.

We would love to come back.

Restful days :)

In the middle of the holiday park Strandslag in Julianadorp aan Zee lies the beautiful holiday home with a garden and terrace. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away via the nearby dune access. The house is lovely and very comfortable, furnished with great attention to detail; the amenities are much more extensive than what one might find in other accommodations. Whether it's a cart, beach toys, a grill, a video collection, or games, everything is available. All information about the park and house will be provided in a timely and easily understandable manner via friendly email contact, so that arrival and stay can proceed completely uncomplicated. The cleanliness of the accommodation is also noteworthy. Please note that not all dining options are open until the end of February. However, you can easily cater for yourself in the house. Thus, nothing stands in the way of a good recovery :-)

Well-equipped holiday home.

Schönes Haus

We were lucky to spend a week in the beautiful house Strandlag 262. You can tell that the house was furnished with a lot of attention to detail.

The house is located on the "main road", but it was wonderfully quiet, and despite the mixed weather, we could occasionally use the terrace with the windbreak. If the weather had been more summery, we would have found everything we needed for a beach stay. We were able to store our e-bikes in the small extension where the washing machine was also located. It is separately lockable. Perfect! The kitchen was fully equipped and left nothing to be desired, just like the bathroom. We slept wonderfully in the spacious beds. We would like to emphasize that there were many strategically placed power outlets, which is often lacking in some houses. Also, the ability to hang things up... Both in the bathroom and in the kitchen and the rooms. Excellent.

It was great that we could park our car right at the house.

Communication with Mrs. Gäde was excellent and always timely.

We can only recommend the house, a place to feel comfortable and relax.

Very well-maintained, personal holiday home, which has been furnished with a lot of love. Tasteful decoration, beautiful pictures, very well-equipped kitchen. The beds are very good, with slightly harder mattresses for two beds. The pillows are a bit worn out...
Location within the holiday resort is very good - you can reach the beach quite quickly via the dune. The through traffic in front of the house through the resort was not at all disturbing. In general, the holiday guests in the resort seem to be quite quiet.

Beautiful week in April

We had a lovely time in the house.
It is clean, nicely furnished and perfectly equipped with everything. From everything for the kitchen (washing-up liquid, baking paper, flour, sugar, etc.), to games (ball, scooter, badminton) for children, books and also two bicycles are available.
There is also a washing machine and enough furniture for the outdoor area.
We were there with 4 adults and two children and there was enough space.
The park is great for kids and the short walk to the beach makes it perfect.
We will definitely be back.

A house to fall in love with

We spent a super nice week there
Upon arrival, we immediately felt very comfortable.
The equipment is perfectly adequate and good
Playground 1 minute away.
We walked to the beach in 7 minutes at the most.
The sunsets there are amazing.
You can even hear the sea at night.
We have already booked our holiday in summer and are already looking forward to our next stay in this great house.

... when it comes to the weather at the North Sea, it's always a bit uncertain, but we were lucky, it was almost perfect for us.
A bit of luck is also needed when choosing accommodations in Julianadorp. This time, we hit the jackpot.
Very nice contact with the owners, reliable and uncomplicated handling, and then the beautiful holiday home...
Clean and nicely furnished, you can feel that it is not only rented out but also used by the owners. The location is also excellent.

We (three adults) felt very comfortable in your holiday home. The kitchen equipment was excellent. The sofa in the living room was comfortable and had enough seating. The mattresses of all three beds were very good. It was very clean. On the terrace, one could also withstand stronger winds. It was not far to walk to the dunes and the sea. Two bicycles are available, but we did not use them as we brought our own bikes. In the holiday resort itself, bicycles can also be rented. For children, there are two lovely playgrounds, and minigolf can also be played on-site. Julianadorp with its flower fields is a dream in spring and also a good starting point for visits to the cities of Alkmaar, Hoorn, and Enkhuizen. Nice holiday in a well-kept house.

We had a wonderful time in a very well-maintained complex. Our holiday home (Strandperle 262) was very clean and equipped with everything needed for a longer holiday stay. The house was tastefully and practically furnished. However, there was a slight downside. The slightly steep staircase leading up to the 3 bedrooms could be a small challenge for someone with limited mobility. Just like the house, the outdoor area was also very well-maintained. However, the terrace is visible to everyone from the walkway. A big advantage is the parking space directly at the house.

The house and its furnishings are very, very nice and modern. The terrace invites you to relax in the sun. Super Kurzurlaub

After the loosening of the Corona restrictions, we spontaneously sought a week of relaxation and recovery. We first checked the occupancy schedule with the Gäde family, and indeed, the week was still available. Since we were already familiar with the holiday home, we knew that nothing stood in the way of a great week.
Everything was top-notch again, and we enjoyed every day. And as the weather also cooperated, we were able to go on fantastic bike rides again. As we are fans of North Holland, we will definitely come back. Thank you very much, Family Gäde. Keep up the good work.

Toller Urlaub

We spent two weeks in the beautiful holiday home and can only report positive things! The house is very cozy, as well as the garden with a beautiful sheltered terrace. Everything is available that you need for a nice stay. The kitchen is super equipped, the beds very comfortable, and everything is super clean! It is only a "stone's throw" (on foot or by bike) to the great, wide beach, and the sunsets are unique! (to be admired from the beach). When it rains, you can relax comfortably by the fireplace with a good book (everything is available). The bike tours lead through the tulip fields (still in full bloom !) and through the dunes. The cycling paths seem to be endless and are beautiful. Overall: great vacation, great area, great house and 100% recommended! Super nice contact with the landlady! Elisabeth and Jacek

We spent a very relaxing week in June at Holiday Home Strandslag 262. After our originally planned vacation week at the beginning of May was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are very happy that we could still spend a week in this comfortable house at the end of June! The furnishings of the house are very high-quality and we liked them very much, as well as the layout of the house with three bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor, and the very well-equipped open kitchen with a large dining area and transition to the living area on the lower floor. But the most beautiful thing was, after weeks of restrictions and social distancing rules, the expanse of the beach and dunes. Here, one never felt like getting "too close" to anyone. Whether cycling, taking a stroll on the beach, or sunbathing, there was plenty of space for everyone, even with social distancing!
We would book this house again at any time and can fully recommend it!

Well-thought-out and beautiful holiday home

The holiday home (for 3 men aged 65-72) was very much to our liking. The furnishings and layout were thoughtfully designed compared to other holiday homes in the settlement. In particular, having 3 full bedrooms upstairs with a toilet provided ample space for the "most important place," the kitchen. In addition to a very comprehensive equipment, there was even a grill on the gas stove and - what a joy - a dishwasher. The location within the park was also good as it was not far from the park exit and thus the entrance to the beach. The bathroom and the shower with an oversized shower head were also very pleasant. Due to the TV's location under the stairs, there was also enough space in the sofa corner. There is even a usable fireplace, but we did not use it. Overall: Recommended.

Ein super Ferienhaus

We spent a week with four adults in this great holiday home. The house offers everything you need to feel comfortable. A new bathroom with a walk-in shower. An additional toilet on the upper floor. An open kitchen equipped with everything needed. Flooring in the lower floor is tiles, and hardwood flooring in the upper floor. A spacious bedroom with a double bed and two other bedrooms with a large bed (1.40 x 2.00m). A gas heating system (with underfloor heating on the ground floor) ensures pleasant temperatures even in cooler weather. An open fireplace (which we have not tried) is also available. The large dining table on the terrace accommodates six people. In the storage room, there is a washing machine and a dryer where we could store our bicycles. (There are also bikes available for use.) Our conclusion: the house is highly recommended. Thank you for a great week.

Perfect vacation

We can only agree with the previous reviews. A beautiful holiday home where everything is just right! The mattresses are great, the equipment modern and top-notch. We have never encountered such a perfectly equipped kitchen! Although the house is located in a holiday home settlement, it is very quiet there. The beach is quickly reached on foot. In Julianadorp, you will find everything you need for life. There is even a fish truck where you can eat the delicious freshly fried "kibbelinge." There is so much to see in the area that 4 weeks of vacation would not be enough to explore everything. We will definitely come back!

. . . that's probably the best way to describe it. The anticipation began when booking, as everything with the landlord Mrs. Gäde went completely smoothly. Perfect short vacation

Without knowing what to expect, we drove to this cozy house in November for a week and were completely satisfied. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired. Unexpectedly large bedrooms for "Holland connoisseurs" that even allow storing vacation clothing in closets. Very nice house, unreservedly recommended.

Unfortunately, we were only in this beautiful holiday home for one week and felt completely at home.
Great bathroom, very well equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms with comfortable beds and mattresses.
Everything was very cosy and tastefully furnished.
The house was also in a very clean condition.
Nothing was missing, maybe a freezer, but that would be criticism at the highest level.
If you know it, you can adjust your shopping to it.
The contact with the landlady was very friendly and pleasant, all questions, as well as documents and info were immediately answered by mail or sent.
To put it in a nutshell
Great house in a beautiful location rented by very friendly landlords.

Great house, we can recommend without reservation

We had a wonderful week's holiday in Julianadorp. The beach was not far away, the house was quiet and yet close to the large playground, whereby we had a view of the playing children from the 1st floor window. The house was very clean, well-maintained and lovingly furnished, the kitchen as complete as we have never experienced it and everything abundantly available. The underfloor heating was very pleasant, and not only for the children when they were playing. Good mattresses, beautifully renovated bathroom, lovely terrace sheltered from the wind, working Wi-Fi, everything very good! We felt good all around
Our heartfelt thanks go to Mrs Gäde! The contact with her was pleasant and friendly from the beginning. When we had a problem during our holiday, she reacted immediately and without complications and provided quick help on site.
If you want to spend your holiday in Julianadorp, then in this cosy feel-good house.

Top Ferienhaus

We have been to the holiday park several times, but we had never had such a well-equipped, modernly furnished house before.

We felt more than comfortable from the beginning. We lacked nothing.

The location of the house was perfect, not far from the playground and the beach.

The communication with the landlords went very well, quick answers via email.

We will definitely not have been there for the last time. Many thanks to the Gäde family for a wonderful holiday in their vacation home.

A truly great house - highly recommended

We have now seen 6 different houses in Park Strandslag - this one was clearly the best laid out, furnished, and equipped, and also the cleanest specimen on arrival, in which one immediately felt comfortable. The truly outstanding kitchen (including the household items and usable supplies such as coffee, spices, oil, vinegar, etc.) and the layout upstairs with two separate children's rooms, each with a 140cm bed, were the ideal solution for us. Especially on days with bad weather, we really enjoyed the extensive selection of games and DVDs for all age groups, as well as the truly perfect Wi-Fi. It's a shame that the house is already fully booked for next summer vacation - we would have loved to come back. The contact with the Gäde family was exemplary as well. The preparation and handling were very quick and reliable. Despite their own vacation absence, two smaller issues were quickly addressed and resolved on-site - it couldn't have been better. We are very grateful and wish the Gäde family to only encounter guests who handle their lovingly arranged offer responsibly - the house and family deserve it!

Absolutely recommendable.

This year we were for the second time in Folge with two children in the holiday home. The equipment of the house is as one would imagine! We were completely satisfied, nothing is missing at all. Internet and television as at home in Germany (in case the weather doesn't cooperate). The beds are top-notch! We are already looking forward to our next vacation.

Been there for the second time

We were at this holiday home for the second time. Just like last time, we were completely thrilled. We were able to park the car right by the house. The location of the house in the park is perfect. We were quickly at the playground and the exit. The house was very clean and well-maintained as expected. We felt comfortable again right away! My little son also knew exactly where to find the game collection. The game "Rumba rups" is very popular with him. The mattresses are still amazing. We slept really well again. This year, we also used the grill and parasol. We would come back here for vacation next year and want to thank Mr. & Mrs. Gäde once again.

We have now stayed at the holiday home for the 2nd time and felt very, very comfortable there. House/Garden/Terrace: everything was super clean as usual - and the perfectly furnished/equipped kitchen provides everything you need for cooking and stocking up. The bathroom has been enlarged in the meantime, completely rebuilt/modernized, and is in tip-top condition. The super-friendly and contact also deserves special mention - every "oh so small question" was quickly answered. Wonderful. . and thank you very much for the reservation for next year, we are already looking forward to the holiday time at Strandslag 262:)

Very nicely renovated house, we felt very comfortable.

Tastefully furnished and comfortable - Gladly again

First, a praise to the landlords. Friendly, uncomplicated contact and quick response times to inquiries.
The holiday home Strandslag 262 is equipped with almost everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The living room with kitchen is quite large and comfortably furnished. The newly furnished wellness bathroom with rain shower not only convinced in terms of appearance. The beds are equipped with comfortable mattresses on which one simply feels good. Overall, we felt very comfortable in this house. The terrace with a large garden table and 6 chairs behind a windbreak is unfortunately completely visible from the street. A privacy screen would be recommended here. We have been to the Strandzicht/Julianadorp complex where the holiday home is located several times. From here, it is only a short walk through the dunes to the beach. However, you can also set out to other destinations that are easily accessible, even by bike. We will come back at the end of October 2018 and for the turn of the year 2018.

The fireplace was perfect to warm us up after the long beach walks (the beach is wonderfully close to the park). However, the underfloor heating would have managed to do that as well.

We especially enjoyed the cozy living room with fireplace and underfloor heating due to the very changeable weather.

All good!!

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. and Mrs. Gäde for allowing us to spend a week in their Strandslag cottage for vacation. It is very modern and lovingly designed. We quickly felt at home.

A big compliment for the kitchen. Rarely have we found so much cutlery, crockery, bowls, and more in a holiday home.

We all slept wonderfully. The mattresses were truly world-class, we would have loved to take them home right away :D. Washing machine and dryer ran without any problems. I had brought my own detergent, but I wouldn't have needed it because it was already provided.

We would love to come back here for vacation :)

Great high-quality holiday house for the family

We had a very nice and relaxed holiday in the holiday home with our children (4 and 6). The house is modern and high quality furnished, it was freshly renovated during our stay. Noteworthy are, for example, the kitchen and TV corner with above-average modern appliances. The leather couches also invite you to feel comfortable. The central playground of the holiday village was very popular with our children. After a day at the beach, you can relax on the terrace with a glass windbreak. In the separate utility room, there is a washing machine with a dryer and extensive beach equipment including a beach trolley and beach shelter available for use. All in all, it was a very nice vacation at Strandslag 262.

Very beautiful vacation home!

We have just returned from vacation and would like to review the fantastic holiday home.

The house is tastefully furnished, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen lacks nothing, and the new bathroom is very successful.

For families, it is quite practical that the great playground of the park can be reached by children in 2 minutes. The way to the beach is also not long. We can agree with all points of the previous review and thank you for a great week and the straightforward rental process.

The house offers a more than extensive range of amenities, from sand toys to a beach wagon, grill, garden table and chairs, a fantastic kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired, up to a TV and WiFi that are just like at home. The furnishings are new and cozy, the entire house made a truly high-quality impression. The cleanliness is absolutely top-notch! Great accommodation!

We spent a great week in the freshly renovated house and felt very comfortable there. The house is bright, tastefully and modernly furnished, super clean - and above all, the perfectly furnished/equipped kitchen stands out, we have never seen anything like it before! The not yet renovated bathroom was in a clean and good condition and will surely gather more top stars through the timely modernization. The terrace is wonderful to use with a large table and comfortable garden chairs behind a glazed windbreak, and the close proximity to the beach and the fantastic wide beach make the property perfect!
