Description

In the sought-after location of the popular seaside resort, this modern duplex is situated on the edge of the dune belt, approximately 500 meters from the fine sandy beach. The town center, with a variety of cafes, bars, and restaurants, is easily reachable on foot at a distance of about 800 meters. Both halves of the house are rented and are identical in terms of their room layout and equipment. This house is the right half of the duplex as seen from the front. It covers an area of approximately 110 sqm. A pleasant, contemporary living comfort and good mechanical equipment for successful vacation days awaits you in 110 sqm of living space. The house includes approximately 300 sqm of natural garden well separated from the neighboring house, with old pine trees, sandy soil, and a covered terrace with garden furniture and a built brick barbecue. The seaside resort of Biscarrosse-Plage offers an interesting environment: In addition to a variety of water sports available on the nearby beach, there are extensive pine forests in the hinterland and the actual town of Biscarrosse-Bourg, with its 15th-century church, old castle, good selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a weekly market. At the nearby, large freshwater lake, you can also swim and windsurf. The beautifully designed 18-hole golf course of the town is of interest to golfers. A visit to the great dune of Pilat is just as worthwhile as a stroll through the seaside resort of Arcachon, about 30 km away, or an evening visit to the casino. Bordeaux - Aquitaine's elegant metropolis - is also suitable for a day trip; linger after an extensive shopping spree or after visiting one of the many museums in a nice street café with a good glass of wine. Or purchase the "Bordeaux," popular not only among the French, directly from the producer in the enchanting town of St. Emilion; as you stroll through the alleys of this well-known wine village, open doors invite you to taste every few steps.

Pretty shower room with a large shower, sink, and toilet. 2 bedrooms: pine furniture, built-in wardrobe, ceramic floors: 1 French bed (140 cm) / 2 beds (90 cm). A 2nd modern shower room in blue-green: enclosed double sink, modern shower cabin. Separate toilet. Large living room with an open kitchen, separated from the living area by a curved bar, well-equipped, white built-in furniture. The room has an open, high ceiling structure, bright and friendly, walls white, large sliding glass door to the covered terrace. In the dining area, there is a large table, upholstered chairs, in the living area a large corner sofa, modern dresser. A pine wood staircase leads to the upper floor. 2 bedrooms, partly paneled in wood, dresser or built-in wardrobe: 1 French bed, 1 bunk bed. Bed (140 cm) / 2 Beds (90 cm), this room with strong slope, Velux window.

Holiday home with potential

Quietly located accommodation on the outskirts of town. The dune landscape begins directly behind the houses. Overall, the house can be quite satisfying with its space. The rented garage is only suitable for small cars, besides being used as storage for dusty and broken garden furniture. The living and sleeping areas were acceptable. The fully fenced garden and terrace were okay. It's just a shame that we had to remove chairs and loungers from dust and cobwebs. The grill grate of the garden grill was placed on loosely stacked stones. The kitchen was bleak, both in terms of cleanliness and equipment. Apart from an externally rusted refrigerator, the stocking of dishes, cutlery, and pots was loveless and pitiful. The house provides sleeping accommodations for 8 people, but there were only 7 coffee spoons; the rest of the cutlery was mismatched. The dishes were no better. Pots? - more than modest. Dust and crumbs in and on the cabinets, the oven urgently in need of cleaning. What is the €120 final cleaning fee actually used for? To get hot water, the water had to run for at least 58 seconds. I criticize not so much the time as the waste of water.
