Located on the sunniest shore of Lake Lugano, our timeless oasis, nestled in an enchanting landscape, is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Ideal for guests who want to enjoy the lake from morning to evening. We offer you a charming accommodation in a renovated historic villa with breathtaking lake views, located directly on the shore of Lake Lugano. This accomodation, suitable for up to four guests, features a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a designer bathroom, a functional room with bunk bed, and a comfortable double bedroom. The villa is surrounded by a large, well-kept park with Mediterranean plants: fruit trees, olive trees, citrus trees, and stone walls with ancient plants. On the large lawn you will find sun loungers, tables, chairs, and a barbecue.
The large park (3000 sqm) is available exclusively to guests of the four wings (each approx. 60 sqm) of the villa and its dependance (100 qm). A personal atmosphere and a warm welcome contribute to the well-being of our guests.
The villa offers free, fenced parking on the property – a special feature and a rarity in this area.
For guests arriving by boat, we offer a private dock and a private jetty (on request).
Within walking distance you will find restaurants and bars with excellent Italian cuisine.

Our oasis is located in the Italian lake region.
You can admire the lakes LUGANO, COMO, PIANO, wooded mountains, and beautiful valleys.
You are spoiled for choice with numerous panoramic trails, very romantic, some starting right here and some leading through the protected nature reserves that surround us, e.g. the one in Valsolda or at Lago di Piano. We especially want to mention one trail, the fantastic Olive Trail. Villa della MARCHESA is located in a privileged position, allowing visits to numerous renowned tourist destinations such as Bellagio, Menaggio, Como, Lugano, and the entire Ticino region.
Water sports enthusiasts, hikers, nature lovers, history buffs, and art lovers will find endless inspiration here.

This enchanting place belongs to the complex of Villa Prina, also known as "Villa della Marchesa", dedicated to Marchesa Orsola Maironi Scremin, protagonist of the famous novel "Piccolo mondo antico" written by Antonio Fogazzaro and setted in Valsolda. A magical atmosphere, full of art and history, can be felt everywere in this place. the nature, the exclusive position, the breathtaking views, accompany the sun from raising to setting . The atmosphere full of history and art, the enchanting garden and the small natural beach make this paradise unique all around the lake.

Best location on Lake Lugano
We had an unforgettable stay. Private lake access and lake view from the apartment. Restaurant directly across.
Very gladly again. The landlady was very cooperative and fulfilled every wish we had.

Wonderful!
We thoroughly enjoyed the week in the little oasis by the lake with child and teenager, and we lacked for nothing. You can tell how much love has gone into the renovation and maintenance of the historic property. Here you can enjoy the wonderful lake and the peace. A truly special place, not least thanks to the hostess: Antonella is always there to help with questions and requests.

Holiday in the oasis by the lake
We had a wonderful holiday in which everything was perfect.Antonella was always there for us when we had questions or needed something.Great was the tour of the huge property with the underground passage.In the garden you can find great plants,we were also allowed to take a cutting of the great cactus.We were certainly not the last time there.Thanks again to Antonella and her husband.Fam.Büttner+Schwandt

"Oasis directly on Lake Lugano"
... this is completely true for this dreamlike complex with a few holiday flats directly on the lake!
This is the second time we have spent a 2-week summer holiday with Antonella
Our holiday flat always has 2 bedrooms with a double bed and a small bedroom with a loft bed. Optimal for 6 persons.
The flat has a living room/dining room and a small but well-equipped kitchen
The small covered outdoor seating area is our favourite place, where we sit evening after evening and let the days fade away.
The complex has a large, well-kept garden with palm trees that cannot be seen from outside (= oasis)
This garden is available to all holiday flats. The sun loungers are a great place to sunbathe.
For children there is a trampoline and a table tennis table.
An open grill may also be used.
The highlight is the direct access to Lake Lugano. A beautiful, old tree provides shade directly on the shore and makes this water access special (= oasis).
A small jetty in the water offers us the opportunity to moor our small motorboat. With it we explore Lake Lugano by water
Most of the villages around Lake Lugano have places for visitors.
In addition to water sports (water skiing, wakeboarding, ...) with a boat, it is also possible to go hiking directly from the site.
Shopping facilities are available in Porlezza, a bakery just one village away
Therefore, the way to the bakery is our first morning excursion by boat.
We feel in good hands with Antonella and always welcome
She gives us tips for excursions, events or good restaurants
She is always available and takes very good care of us every year.

Great holiday on Lake Lugano
We booked flat no. 4 with a view of the lake. The complex is very beautiful and the direct access to the lake is ideal for swimming. The furnishing of the flat is rustic and functional. It is a historic building from the 17th century; the floor parquet in the living room probably dates from that time and is absolutely worth seeing and impressive. The proximity to Lugano as well as Lake Como and Lake Maggiore offers ideal conditions for excursions in the surrounding area. We had an all-round lovely and relaxing holiday. The complex is also an ideal starting point for holidays with your own boat as there are direct moorings.
