Location and surroundings of object
The campsite mainly offers space for private chalets and the total area of the campsite covers an area of square metres.
The beach width at the campsite fills a width of 1000 metres.
On the campsite there is a water amusement park with a large outdoor swimming pool, hydromassage, sun terrace, several slides and a terrace next to the restaurant. There is also a bar/disco on the beach, where various activities for young and old are organised during the season.
The whole is situated on the edge of the village of Porlezza, where you can also find a variety of catering facilities. Porlezza offers you a beautiful environment, as it is only in the Alps, but it is also close to the water and has a pleasant climate.
Porlezza is a small, cosy village with nice restaurants. There is a boulevard where you can enjoy delicious Italian ice cream or a lovely Prosecco on one of the many cosy terraces.
There are special mountains to visit nearby: Monte Sighignola or Monte Generose 1704 m, reachable on foot or with a tourist train.
Also nice is Gandria where the beginning of the olive route starts (6 km walk). Or a visit to Mennagio, Como, Milan or Lugano is definitely worthwhile.
Every Saturday there is a pleasant market in Porlezza and every Wednesday a larger market in Luino on Lake Maggiore.
