Relaxed days in autumn

Whoever seeks tranquility is in the right place. We spent an extended weekend in the New Barn with our older children. Mr. and Mrs. Windisch were very friendly and caring hosts. They gladly shared interesting details about the history of the building. It is lovingly furnished; however, caution ;) for two-meter tall people, the ceiling beams are too low :). After extensive walks in the surrounding forests by the reservoir with a view over the Vogtland, it was cozy to sit in the living room at the large table by the pleasant warmth of the wood stove. We would like to recommend the country house Marienstein, about a 10-minute walk away, where we enjoyed a Sunday breakfast in a homely atmosphere.

Beautiful vacation

We stayed in this great holiday home for 5 days. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the heavenly peace. We lacked nothing (cleanliness, surroundings... and especially Mrs. and Mr. Windisch. Thank you again, and we will come back. This holiday home is highly recommended.

Dear Windisch Family,
we were able to spend two wonderfully relaxing weeks, thank you very much! The accommodation was very clean and lovingly furnished. All wishes were fulfilled in "Windisch's hurry" by exceptionally friendly hosts. In the well-maintained garden, we found peace and enjoyed the good air away from the big city. Great value for money! The Vogtland is always worth a visit

If you love cosiness, you should conquer the Vogtland with its many interesting sights from the holiday home "Neue Scheune".
The holiday home was furnished with great attention to detail, be it the tiled stove or the four-poster beds.
We felt very comfortable and will gladly come again. Our thanks go to the friendly landlords!

Beautiful holiday home

We ( three adults and three children (two teenagers and one kindergarten child) enjoyed our 14 days in the beautiful Neue Scheune very much and felt completely at home: We enjoyed the very cosy and spacious rooms, the dreamlike garden, the impressive old building fabric, which is very successfully linked with a lot of comfort, the well-equipped kitchen, which invites you to cook together, and the peace and quiet very much. We all slept excellently in the very nice sleeping chambers and had a lot of fun getting to know the Windisch family.

Nice vacation

We traveled as a family (4 people) to Bergen and were warmly welcomed by the Windisch family. They were also there to assist us during our stay. We really liked it in the Vogtland region and would love to come back. The "Neue Scheune" is definitely worth a visit, we felt completely comfortable there! There is a lot to experience and see in the area, including the Göltzschtal Bridge, Plohn amusement park, and Herrmann Falconry ....

Wonderful family vacation in the Vogtland

A former carpentry workshop that has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Very cozy living and sleeping rooms. A very large garden where the little ones could also let off steam. The friendly and helpful landlords round off the great overall picture.

The holiday home is quiet but still close enough to the main road to be able to explore the area easily. Bakeries and shopping facilities are within walking distance with a short stroll.

The Vogtland itself offers a lot to see, culture and beautiful nature (ski jump Klingenthal, space exhibition, amusement park Plohn, visitor mine Tannenberg, lace museum in Plauen).

Family vacation in the Vogtland

Originally faithfully restored half-timbered house with a special flair. All rooms are individually designed with attention to detail. The large and beautiful garden invites you to linger. It is quickly accessible from the main road, yet the place is completely peaceful. The hosts are very warm and helpful. The surroundings are well suited for all kinds of excursions. We will definitely come back.

Winter Wunder Haus

Wonderfully cozy and quaintly romantic. With a stove to heat yourself. Priceless after a winter day with snow. The bedrooms for dreaming. In the kitchen, everything is there that a woman/man needs. The bathrooms and toilets are modern. Plenty of landscape. Quiet location despite the proximity to the main road. Hosts are nice. Summer vacation is a must as well.
