Description
Cute holiday home with living room and bedroom, kitchenette and WC-shower-bathroom in the basement and large sleeping studio with seating area in the converted upper floor. A large terrace invites you to spend time outdoors. A sauna can be used in the outbuilding. To cool down, a bath in the bathtub with naturally tempered cleanest brook water is possible (also without sauna). As our house only has stove heating, the season is limited to April to October.

The holiday home is located on the western edge of the village and is also on the last developed plot of land, so that there is an unobstructed view of the Vogtland hill country to the west (in good weather even as far as the Döbraberg in the Franconian Forest). it is 14 kilometres to the district town of Plauen and 10 to the balcony of the Vogtland, Schöneck. Here you can enjoy views as far as the Kaiser Mountains in the south, the Fichtel Mountains in the west and the Thuringian Forest in the northwest. Kottengrün, with a population of 750, lies between Oelsnitz/Vogtland and Falkenstein, about 15 km south of Plauen in the Vogtland district. The village infrastructure includes two bakeries (one of which sells everyday goods), a hairdresser and an outdoor swimming pool with a playground and large sunbathing lawn.
