Description
Since I am traveling with the motorhome for a longer period of time, I am renting out my little house here.
Relax on a hike through the wild and romantic Schlichem Gorge, or let yourself be enchanted by sparkling gemstones during a visit to the World of Crystals in Dietingen.
Our lovely "Lichthäusle" was completely renovated in 2016/17. Old, visible masonry and half-timbering from the 18th century give this holiday cottage its very special charm. The furnishings were custom-made by us in shabby chic and vintage style. The house has 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. And 1 sofa bed in the living room. We are also happy to provide a crib for you free of charge.
The lovingly furnished kitchen also has flair.
In our open dining and living area, with sofa bed and Danish wood stove, you can spend many cozy hours. The bathroom with shower, toilet, and washbasin was also renovated in 2016 with great attention to detail.
In good weather, a small garden in front of the house with seating and barbecue facilities is available to you. There you can barbecue, simply relax, or also play table tennis. So that your four-legged friends can romp around to their heart’s content, this property is fenced in. Behind the house is a fenced-in property where the owner keeps 4 hens without a rooster (so no crowing). She also grows vegetables there. Eggs and vegetables of the best organic quality can be purchased from her.
You are also welcome to pick fruit, berries, and herbs from the garden.
Come by and enjoy a few days in a very special atmosphere and let yourself be enchanted by our little house.

Between the Swabian Alb, the Black Forest, and the beautiful Lake Constance lies our charming holiday home "Lichthäusle".
In the small, cozy village of Irslingen, away from hustle and bustle, you can relax and let your soul unwind.
The hiking trail into the wild and romantic Schlichem Gorge starts directly in Irslingen. A castle ruin can also be visited there.
An excellent network of cycle paths lets cyclists get their money's worth.
In 10 min. you reach the worth-seeing, historic city of Rottweil. Rottweil is the oldest city in Baden-Württemberg, the city of towers and stronghold of the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet.
Also, just 15 min. away begins an Eldorado for hiking enthusiasts. The "Albtrauf" with the highest mountain of the Swabian Alb.
A bathing lake, as well as many sights and leisure activities, can also be reached within 10 min. to 20 min. Shopping options:
In the village of Irslingen there is a very good butcher (meat from the region), as well as two very good inns. Baked goods can also be purchased at the butcher's.
In addition, every Thursday the sales van of a local bakery (known for the best pretzels) comes to the village.
Larger shopping options are available in Dietingen (5 min.) or Rottweil.
Irslingen has a very nice playground. And last but not least, the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet is celebrated every year in our little village as well.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Within a radius of 30 km there are many other attractions such as swimming pool, hiking and cycling trails, Black Forest Ziplein (cable car), Schömberg Reservoir (swimming and mini golf), and many other activity options. There are numerous good restaurants (German, Italian, Indian, Greek) in the immediate vicinity.
Transport:
The house is only 10 minutes away from the A81 motorway. You can easily reach us via the Rottweil or Oberndorf exits. Direct parking is available at the accommodation.

Beautiful little gingerbread house
The Lichthäusle is a beautiful and lovingly furnished little cozy house where you immediately feel at home.
Nothing is missing in the furnishings; there is even a dishwasher, which we didn't use at all.
My 84-year-old mother managed very well with her cane, as there are only small steps throughout the house.
The dog also liked it; he had a small garden for himself. The small oven in the living room creates a cozy and romantic atmosphere even in bad weather. Around Irslingen, there are nice little towns to stroll through, and many opportunities for excursions and hiking. Nature is truly very beautiful. The landlord is very nice and attentive and is always immediately helpful when you have a question. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We had a wonderful week and will definitely come back.

Great holiday home to relax
The Lichthäusle offers a great opportunity to relax with dogs as well. There are many options for hiking and enjoying nature.
The wonderful ambiance makes you feel like you're on vacation right away and enjoy it. We will gladly come back.

Holiday home with special charm.
Very cozy furnishings. Everything clean and tidy. Designed with a lot of love. I particularly liked the pictures in the dining room by Sebastian Wehrle. The garden in front of the house must be great for grilling in the summer. Unfortunately, the weather was not so great for us. But at Lichthäusle, you can easily spend a week without any problems. Just slow down a bit. In the evening, there was a nice fireplace and a glass of red wine.

Little gem
The landlords are very nice. Always helpful.
The property is a very old farmhouse that has been lovingly renovated inside. With a lot of attention to detail. There is a large garden plot behind the house where you can let your dogs run. And in front of the house, there is a nice seating area for grilling.
In the house, you can find basically everything you need. The only downside is the somewhat small bathroom. I would come back anytime.

Price performance TOP Landlord always helpful
I spent 3 weeks with my son in the nice and beautifully furnished house.
Landlord always reachable and helpful.
The nice thing about the Lichthäusle is that you are really completely undisturbed. No annoying roommates like in a vacation apartment. The house was super clean and well-maintained upon arrival.
