beach holiday in Arona? Compare the different accommodations, their facilities and, of course, the prices and finally spend a wonderful holiday in the south of Tenerife. The town of Arona is located near the
Tenerife South airport and the TF-1 south motorway. This way, you can quickly and easily get to your holiday destination.
Mild all year round
Tenerife has mild temperatures all year round. There are affordable apartments and holiday homes with indoor pools. A
holiday with a pool in Arona is therefore recommended all year round. In the summer months, it is very dry and hot. The maximum temperatures can reach more than 35 degrees Celsius. In this case, it is best to find a shady spot or use the grounds of your accommodation or villa to relax to your heart's content.
Traditional and delicious
The cuisine in Arona and on the island of
Tenerife can be described as hearty and extremely tasty. Typical dishes include potatoes cooked in brine, called Papas arrugadas. In the local restaurants, also try Garbanzos, a chickpea stew that is considered a special delicacy. In most restaurants, you can also get the classic tapas. Gofio, once a staple food, is still very popular among the locals. It is a flour made from roasted grains or legumes. The flour is kneaded with honey, almonds or raisins into a mass and served and eaten with a meat or vegetable broth. In Tenerife, there is a sweet and a hearty version of the dish. Rent a holiday home or apartment privately in the town of Arona and get to know this part of the world from a culinary perspective as well!
Truly animal, truly family-friendly
It is worth renting an apartment or holiday home with the whole family. Arona in Tenerife is an ideal starting point for a wonderful beach holiday and in the middle of beautiful nature. We also recommend visiting various amusement parks, e.g. the Monkey Park in Arona. Here you can see rare species of monkeys, monitor lizards, lizards, exotic birds or snakes. The Bananera Jardines del Atlantico park in the town of Valle San Lorenzo is also worth a visit. Here you can learn more about the cultivation of Canary bananas in the region. There is also a small museum and a petting zoo. A highlight for families is the Parque Las Águilas (Jungle Park) with its bird of prey show, various species of monkeys and birds, big cats, a toboggan run and a climbing park. The Camel Park is also an animal experience - with a petting zoo for children, camel rides and many tropical plants.
