Description
Our spacious holiday flat Elfenbeinmöve is suitable for up to 16 people incl. 2 small children.
It has 6 bedrooms and a cosy living room with an adjoining bright conservatory facing the pool. The large kitchen with dining area (approx. 50m²) is located on the upper floor of the house. Here the little children will also find a play corner. For young and old, there is also a table football for hilarious tournaments, so a bad weather day is not a bad holiday day!
The fireplace corner in the basement with cosy seating invites you to chat or dream. Here you can retire for the evening with a glass of wine.
Each room is individually furnished. The style ranges from romantic and rustic to modern. Guests with a love of detail will feel very comfortable with us.
For your wellness holiday you have the community pool and the community sauna at your disposal

Location and surroundings of object
Bargenstedt is centrally located between the North Sea - Baltic Sea Canal and Meldorfer Bucht. You will find woods, fields, lots of greenery and long hiking trails and small towns with historic city centres. Nearby you can visit the cathedral town of Meldorf on foot, by bike or by car. (approx. 7 km away). Close to the sea / North Sea, Bargenstedt offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday at the North Sea (no resort tax).
~For the kids there is a new playground within walking distance and lots of nature to explore.
~For the four-legged friends, there are also field paths near the apartment where they can really romp around.
~Organic vegetables and agricultural products can be purchased freshly harvested in the surrounding area and farm shops.
~Bicycles can be rented cheaply in the nearby town of Meldorf. All addresses are available in the flat.

As always, a little dream ...
We were at the House of Seagulls for the umpteenth time, and as always, everything was perfect. Janke (the landlord) is open to any request and helpful in every way. We visited the House of Seagulls with twelve people over a long weekend, and we can only highly recommend the house for large groups. It is somewhat convoluted, but that also has its charm, and it offers privacy in (almost) every room - the only exception is the living room upstairs, which we included upon request, as we always ended up putting the last two night owls in there... and there were twelve of us!
The amenities are great, the generously designed kitchen offers enough space for meals for even more people, and it is simply perfect for game nights! The sauna could not be more beautiful (about 6 people, otherwise it gets cozy) and anyone who wants to cool off by jumping into the pool afterwards can do so at any time, as it is filled year-round. And anyone who has problems with a few algae in the fall (so outside of the season) in the pool should contact Jahnke beforehand, as he is, as already mentioned, a very accommodating host and tries to fulfill every wish :-)
Especially when it gets louder and later at night, it's really no problem at all! ! I hope the neighboring cows were not disturbed by us ^^
The kitchen equipment is very good, and here too, contact can be made in advance to inquire about any necessary utensils.
We were simply, as always, completely satisfied!

Beautiful family holiday
We spent our holiday with 10 people in the House of the Seagulls.
There are many common rooms where you can sit together. The conservatory and the large kitchen/living room are very cosy
All the rooms are nicely furnished and everything has been thought of. Small children are also well catered for.
Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed our time and warmed up again and again in the infrared cabin or sauna. The accommodation really has a lot to offer
The garden is very nicely laid out. You have your privacy. There is a sand playground for the children, an outdoor kitchen for barbecuing and comfortable loungers by the pool.
The contact with the landlady was very friendly and you never had to wait long for answers. Thank you very much!

House of the Seagulls
The flat is lovingly furnished and very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden very well kept. The pool - unfortunately not usable under Corona conditions - would have been a welcome cooling in the temperatures we had. The trip is worth it :-)
Because of the Corona conditions, there was regular, very friendly and always quick communication about the current situation on site.

Great equipment
The house is a bit "off the beaten track", but you know that when you book. The house is "grown", so it is a bit winding. But it is equipped with everything your heart desires. Large kitchen with large table, pool, sauna, wood-burning stove, garden, barbecue, massage chair (highly recommended).... Booking etc. completely hassle-free with nice landlords.

Vacation for relaxation
We were with a large group of 13 people for a long weekend in the Möwe and we thoroughly enjoyed the four days. The Möwe is a beautiful house furnished with a lot of love that offers everything for people who want to relax. The sauna, the pool and the wellness area are excellently maintained, and there is nothing better than jumping into the cool pool after a hot sauna.
The kitchen is top equipped (there is even an additional hot plate to use outside), the large lounge, which belongs to the kitchen, is very cozy, and if you need some peace and quiet, you can relax in front of the TV in the living room or go straight to the wellness area and let yourself be massaged by the massage chair. Mrs. Gutz is a very friendly and helpful host, and the bread service is highly recommended... All in all, a top accommodation that we would visit again at any time... we will be back :-)
P.S. Unfortunately, we didn't bring the little ones with us, but they would also feel very comfortable in the Möwe, as it is very child-friendly equipped!
