Description
In a garden of 1500 sqm with many flowering trees, sand paths, a hanging swing, and an open pavilion lies the private holiday house with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, shower, toilet, and large terrace adjacent to the Indian Ocean and offers comfort for 4 people. In the garden there is a raised pavilion with a double bed and mosquito net for sleeping outside. The house costs 95 euros per night for 1-2 people including breakfast, 115 euros for 3 people, and 135 euros for 4 people.
Daily cleaning of the house (in the morning), making the beds, changing and washing bed linen and towels, sweeping the garden are part of the service, so almost like in a hotel.

A wondrous, pristine place for individualists
Two wonderful and relaxing weeks in Zanzibar are now behind us. The stay was exactly to our taste.
Jambiani is a wondrous, still wonderfully original African village.
A picturesque, dreamlike beach, unreal atmospheres, great scenery, friendly people....
The days passed surprisingly slowly with relaxing in the swing, reading, walks on the beach and at low tide in the sea, shopping in the village, Dao trips, excursions with the Dalla Dallas and sometimes by bike, chilling in bars.
The cottage is beautifully situated on the beach, and we use the sunbeds and the swing especially often.
The neighbours' cat has grown very fond of us and hardly left our side during the second week.
Apart from a sunburn on the third day and some obligatory mosquito bites, we spent the days healthy and unscathed.
The house staff was super friendly. Zahero, Nusura's son, has increasingly gained trust and spent the mornings with us at the sunbeds, a pleasant presence for us. It has been a pleasure for us to watch the children playing. There they still enjoy a paper aeroplane, a small sailboat and the little sea creatures. No Gameboy or mobile phones, no television.
Rama and his wife prepared delicious breakfasts for us every day. We will miss the juices and ripe fruits. Some evenings Rama joined us so that a nice exchange of information could take place. The Watchman Ari was also a very friendly and accommodating man, never pushy, just pleasant.
We lived with the people and were able to quickly adapt to their "Pole Pole" rhythm of life, leaving us refreshed and again richer in impressions and experiences.
recommend for: holiday without car, beach holiday, romantic holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: Für Individualisten, die es lieben "mittendrin" zu leben. Außerordentlich paradisisch und noch relativ unberührt
free time activities: Stone Town, Jozani Forrest
shopping facilities: Im Dorf befinden sich viele kleine Stors. Fleisch ist Mangelware und muss bestellt werden. Frisches und reifes Obst ist reichlich vorhanden.

I bought this property 30 years ago when there was no running water or electricity in Jambiani and only one tiny palm tree in the garden. To plant more trees, holes had to be chiselled into the coral stone and filled with soil so that a tree could grow at all. Little by little, many trees were planted so that the garden was nicely shaded. The small coral stones were collected and the ground filled with sand so that the garden can be walked on as if it were a beach.
