At the foot of the picturesque lighthouse and the beach transition, the semi- detached 4 persons house is overlooking the dunes, garden, garden shed and parking. The central square with terraces and restaurants within easy reach offering atmosphere and fun. Historic cities like Middelburg, Veere and Vlissingen near. Theme parks such as Delta Park Neeltje Jans, het Arsenaal, Family Theme Park Mini Mundi reached inside a radius of 20 Km. Cycling, riding and hiking trails are just around the corner.
The house has a living room with kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, Senseo coffee machine, toaster and Dishwasher. The microwave and washer / dryer combination is placed in a closet off the kitchen.
The lounge has an LED Smart TV with connectivity for games. A Blu-ray player, and wireless Internet access (WIFI) are available free of charge.
At the entrance is a toilet.
Also on the ground floor two 2-person bedrooms. Adjoining bathroom with shower, sink and second toilet. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating, with the exception of one bedroom. Beautiful jewelry box in an exposed location
Our (couple with dog) high expectations due to the promising pictures were exceeded! The house is extremely tastefully, high quality and comfortably furnished and very well equipped. The outdoor area is not overlooked, sheltered from the wind and sunny from early morning until evening. 4 sun loungers and a round dining table with four chairs invite you to linger. The quiet immediate proximity to the beach, restaurants and hiking trails is unique! The adjacent house owned by the exceptionally friendly landlady does not disturb at all. We know many houses in Walcheren, most of which are similar and located in "parks". Laaglicht is something very special!!! Thank you very much for your hospitality dear Mrs. de Vries!

Short and sweet: fantastic accommodation in a fantastic location!
We, a couple with a dog from Germany, were looking for a holiday opportunity on the coast of Holland on short notice and were lucky. Thanks to a cancellation by other guests, we were able to stay at "het Laaglicht" for 14 wonderful days in the summer. And that's what it was: wonderful. While rain and storms raged in Germany, we had a super relaxing holiday with consistently great summer weather in Dishoek. We were welcomed very warmly & felt comfortable from the first minute! The small cottage is very cozy. High-quality furniture, comfortable beds, very clean & well-maintained, including a fenced small garden, which is perfect especially for dog owners! The holiday home is located in the front row behind the dunes, closer to the North Sea is not possible. We took the opportunity and gladly went for a swim in the sea in the evening one last time, without any luggage, just equipped with bathing suits and towels - wonderful! Dishoek is a small holiday village, with many vacation accommodations, very well-maintained, and with a pleasant, quiet, well-behaved crowd.
The surrounding area is also highly recommended. We really enjoyed the dune walks to Vlissingen, Westkapelle, and so on. There are many beach bars on the beach, perfect for a short break and relaxing by the sea! The beach itself is cleaned daily and very well-maintained and clean. We were absolutely surprised that it was not overcrowded, even though it is far away. Even on beautiful swimming weather there was plenty of space, no crowding, etc. In short: We are going home very happy and relaxed. A little sad too, because we would have liked to stay longer!

always beautiful
Until now we only knew "hooglich" the slightly larger neighboring house of the same owner. Even in this smaller cottage everything is right: a loving welcome with guest gifts, apple juice and cookies from the region. Spotlessly clean, beautiful, atmospheric decor and the highlight: the small green courtyard. Practical, as we were traveling with our dog and she could go out without greeting the passing vacationers. The small infrared sauna was used by my husband. We are looking forward to our 3rd vacation in Dishoek in February, this time in the neighboring house (unfortunately, this cottage was already fully booked). That's the downside of super nice holiday homes.
