THE CAPTAINS HOUSE is very nicely furnished and decorated. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, the living room with TV and a large music and DVD collection, has a fireplace, furthermore there is a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower, and a large terrace with dining area and view of the pool. On the first floor there is a living room with TV, a bedroom with two single beds, two further bedrooms with double beds, one of which is en-suite and has a bathroom with shower; furthermore, there is a family bathroom with bathtub and shower and also a fully equipped terrace.
Outside there is a barbecue, a 24m² heated pool that is 1.4m deep. From the pool you have a breathtaking view of the sea. There are several seating options outside, so you can find the perfect spot to enjoy your vacation. There are 2 parking spaces.
(Please note that the water temperature of the pool, even when heated, can be affected by weather conditions and seasons. Therefore, no specific pool temperatures can be guaranteed.)

Omis is an ancient market town set against the majestic Mosor Mountains and where the River Cetina meets the clear water of the Adriatic Sea. It is an ideal base for exploring the Cetina Gorge where hiking, mountaineering, and rafting on the river are popular adventures. The town well preserved 16th-century fortress affords spectacular views from its hilltop vantage. The town's main claim to fame is as the center of Dalmatias' pirate history and folk music (Klapa). The main beach is long and sandy with shallow waters, but there are also stone beaches with natural shade. The town is full of excellent restaurants, serving great food, delicious fish, the best steaks ever, and mouthwatering pizzas.
We are a British couple from a beautiful part of Northern England. We fell in love with Croatia 9 years ago and wanted to have a home there in the mountains. We eventually found the right house, in the mountains yet overlooking the Adriatic and the beautiful island of Brac. It is in a unique location, down a small lane of only a few houses, in a very natural environment of fir trees and wildflowers, the air is so pure you relax immediately. Although located in the mountain, you are still very close to Omis (6km) and also the Cetina River (7km) and only 19km to the City of Split, where the old part of the city is a palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian and is Unesco protected - must-see location.
We have spent many years renovating the house, it is furnished with a mixture of family furniture and beautiful fabrics, that we hope to complement the traditional Croatian house. It has a courtyard with a BBQ, the area is filled with plants and flowers, a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and relax in the evening. The pool hangs on the edge of the mountain with the best views ever.
Although the house is a great place to relax, it is also child friendly, it has two sitting rooms each with a TV and plenty of space to play. We have six grandchildren who just love their time there.
We hope you enjoy the house and will fall in love with Croatia just as we did.

Adorable house with great view
This house simply has everything you could wish for. It is quaint and cozy, super well-equipped, has a great location, and Nikolina's care is perfect. One message is enough, and she takes care of any concerns. There are very nice and, above all, very good restaurants in the area.
And the absolute highlight: the peace and the view from the house are unbeatable.
There were four of us staying in the Captain's House for ten days, had a great time, and will definitely be back.
