Description
Villa Helios is located on a sunny south-west slope in the midst of a 7000 sqm olive grove. The house offers a large heated pool (3,5mx16m), an heated outdoor Jacuzzy with jets and extra relaxation area ias well as a garden.
Following the old olive tree terraces, Villa Helios is nestled on three levels on the slope. The open space living and dining area is on the same level as the pool. Whether you prefer to have your meals in the house or on the terrace by the pool, you always have am excellent view of the sea. In hot summer months, a light breeze offers a pleasant cooling, which always blows from the north. Even during spring and fall you can enjoy a sunbath: the terraces and the garden offer a wide range of options.
On over 220qm living space is plenty of space for families and groups. Through the arrangement of the rooms and the design of the surroundings of the house, Villa Helios offers much undisturbed privacy for a relaxing holiday.
Three bedrooms are spread over two higher levels, accessible by a few steps from the living room. Each bedroom has a separate bathroom with direct, exclusive access and a private terrace. The main bedroom on the first floor offers direct ocean views from the bed and a jacuzzi from which you can enjoy the sunset over the sea.
The other two bedrooms have a king-size bed or two single beds. Both bedrooms have separate accessible bathrooms and terraces.
The kitchen is fully equipped. All you need for cooking or baking is available. dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, large refrigerator with ice compartment, toaster and coffee machine. A washing machine is also available.
The dining area is on the pool level. Enjoy your breakfast or dinner on the terrace by the pool. If you do not want to cook yourself, there are various alternatives. Visit one of the restaurants that can be reached in a few minutes by car. Or let the woman of the manager conjure up a dinner of your choice and enjoy your dinner in your own surroundings.
Internet is available via free WIFI. The Flatscreen TV also offers international channels. DVD player, blueray librairy and hifi-systems are also provided.

Villa Helios is located in the southwest of Crete in an olive grove away from the usual tourist tracks. The slightly elevated position on a south-west slope allows the marvellous sea view and Cape Katsoulas.
5 more villas and a reception building are within a 3-5 minute walk. A small paved road, which is part of the European Walking track E4, connects the villa to the panoramic road from Kissamos to Elos. The Elafonisi and Falassarna beaches are 15 and 35 minutes away by car. The nearest airport Chania, which is usually directly fueled by several airports in Germany, is about 70 km and 90 minutes drive away. Heraklion airport is further away.

Our house and its surroundings offer an oasis of tranquility and is therefore the ideal environment to unwind. Whether in the garden, on one of the three terraces in front of the bedrooms or on the large pool terrace, the blue of the sea and the sky invite you to relax. The pool is 16x4 meters in size and allows for a refreshing bath as well as sporty swimming.
In the evening the sun sinks directly behind the pool in the sea. Afterwards the starry sky offers an unforgettable spectacle. In the morning wake up the first rays of the sun and occasionally the cock crowing at some distance. In 10-15 minutes driving time you will find local restaurants, which besides excellent food each have a special ambience to offer.
The personal care on the spot is our manager. It is always available for you and helps with the shopping or gives valuable tips for excursions.
Our house is cleaned twice a week. Then also the change of the bed linen, as well as the change of towels for the use in the bathroom as well as the separate pool towels.

Dream villa in a super location
We spent a wonderfully beautiful vacation with friends in this well-maintained villa. We missed nothing in the villa; it was very clean and comfortably furnished. The view over the sea is simply stunning. We usually enjoyed the sunsets from the pool. We were completely satisfied and have already reserved for next year.

Absolutely beautiful vacation in a great villa
The villa was amazing. Just like in the photos. Well located between Elafonisi and Falassarna and still very quiet. The view from the villa was wonderful. The pool was the best we have ever had. We really enjoyed the daily cooling off. Our landlord always took great care of us. If we had any questions, we were served very quickly. Only the cleaning staff were not always completely reliable when it came to scheduling. We had a wonderful holiday and can definitely imagine coming back again.

Fantastic holiday in beautiful accommodation
We can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home and have already stayed here twice
Even before the holiday, we had very pleasant communication with the landlord, were provided with all the important information and felt very well looked after. On site, we were very positively surprised by the dreamlike property: the garden, the pool as well as the house are in a very well-kept condition and furnished with love for detail. There is a separate bathroom for each room and the living room invites you to stay even in cooler temperatures.
Detailed information about the house, the surroundings and possible restaurants, as well as local contacts, have been compiled in a small welcome folder.
To get to the highlights of the area, as well as to the restaurants and shopping, you need a car. If you need help with this, you can also contact the landlord with confidence.
We were very satisfied all around, had a wonderful holiday week and are already looking forward to another holiday in this wonderful house

Very pleasant holiday!
We had a wonderful holiday in the "oasis of peace". The sunset is indescribable and takes your breath away every evening, just like the starry sky once the sun has set. The way to the villa is always easier to find and it is possible to reach a beach on foot where you are as good as alone. We were different types of holidaymakers and there was something for everyone and every need was met. The room with the large balcony is stunning as you can watch the sunset from your bed and look out to sea when you wake up in the morning. The woman who drives from villa to villa and is available for any questions is very helpful and exceptionally friendly, as is the host. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to return next year.

Relaxing holiday
We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful holiday home. The rooms are very nicely furnished and each guest has their own privacy. The view of the sea is wonderful and you can really take a deep breath. We made great excursions, ate delicious food in the tavernas, and the beach in Elafonisi was still nice and empty at the beginning of May. The landlords are very nice and accommodating, the food on the day of arrival was very tasty. The house was cleaned three times, the beds made and the towels changed, a very good service. All in all, we were more than satisfied and didn't want to go home!

Switch off and relax!
We can recommend this house to anyone looking for peace and quiet in an authentic landscape (bathing, hiking, mountain biking, etc.). The location of the house guarantees a beautiful sunset and we liked the furnishings very much. If you cook for yourself, be sure to buy the basics on arrival, as the mini markets in the vicinity are rather modest (15 - 40 minutes by car). We can also recommend the delivery service for dinner (order the day before necessary!). The large pool had very good water quality with no chlorine smell). The equipment is very good and everything worked perfectly! The contact persons on site were very service-oriented and friendly. The house was also very clean, cleaned once (in 1 week) and the (bed) linen changed. Conclusion: Here you are far away from mass tourism and are - if needed - still well looked after.

Perfect holiday
We had a very nice, relaxing holiday in an absolutely quiet location. The house is well maintained and the pool is very spacious. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house is very well equipped for 6 people. Since the next bigger supermarket is 1 hour away by car, you should stock up generously with food when you move in. The nearest secluded beaches are close by and a taverna is only 10 minutes away by car. We would stay here again at any time and can only recommend the house.

Your experience: Beautiful and spacious house! Our 2 families (4 adults and 4 children) had a perfect stay there! Quiet, beautiful pool, stunning view... and only 20 minutes from the magnificent Elafonisi beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete (we went there almost every day!).
You may be far from civilization (the nearest town of Kissamos is 1 hour away), but here restaurants will deliver your meals to you (delicious and inexpensive!) and you can find mini-markets about 20 minutes away.
Very good service, the staff who take care of the various villas in the area are quite responsive in case of any issues.

Fantastic peace, beautiful house
We were travelling with friends and had a fantastic week! The house is beautifully situated on a hillside with a wonderful view of the sea and nature. The house is fully equipped and has a very nice room layout. High ceilings, made of tree trunks and wooden floorboards in combination with the traditional stone walls create a beautiful atmosphere. You feel at home in the house and also on the property right from the start
Immediately after arriving in the evening, we were able to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset and our welcome dinner.
The service on site was friendly and courteous. The Kirchgesser family had already given us some great tips for excursions and restaurants. Many thanks for the great time!

Oasis of tranquility - who can top the name?
...we have arrived and immediately felt comfortable, a tasty dinner was already prepared and the vacation mood was instantly there. A highchair and crib were ready for our granddaughter. Time to go to bed? Nope, not yet! First, enjoy the wonderfully light air of Crete on the terrace and count the stars. Such peaceful nights are only found here, in the west and south of the island and far away from tourist centers. Heartwarming was our landlord's concern during a (not so severe) power outage, as our 10-month-old granddaughter had to wait a bit for a warm breakfast; however, following our host's recommendations, we had bought everything necessary on the evening of arrival. Well, no host has provided us with recommendations and tips of such extent before, so that's precisely why the whole vacation was filled with peace, joy, and relaxation. We actually didn't need to go away every day, our vacation home was so beautiful.

Wundervolle Ferien
A wonderful place to relax and unwind. From the elevated hillside location, you have a magnificent view over the sea and the olive groves in front.
The house itself is in impeccable condition and very clean. The high wooden ceilings supported by tree trunks, combined with the natural stone walls, give the house a special charm and character. We felt comfortable right away.

Dreamy vacation in a beautiful environment
We only left the house to go shopping for a week. Wonderful peace, fantastic view over the sea and olive groves! During the day, we enjoyed the large pool, which is also suitable for swimming due to its dimensions. In the evening, Ioanna cooked for us and we relaxed on our own terrace at sunset with wine and delicious food. For us, it was pure relaxation and recovery in a private atmosphere. Next time, we will stay longer!

The "Oasis of Peace" has truly lived up to its name, we will come back!
The holiday home is an absolute dream and we can recommend it 110%! The sea view from every room is breathtaking; every evening you can watch a spectacular sunset. The large pool is perfect for swimming in the morning. The service leaves nothing to be desired, and if desired, delicious Greek food can even be delivered right to the house. If you are looking for relaxation and privacy away from the tourist hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place for you. We will definitely come back next year!

Beautiful oasis of peace.
We would book this beautiful property again at any time. Top standard with generous space. Somewhat secluded from the hot spots of Crete, this villa offers an ideal platform for relaxation and enjoying peace. The view is fantastic facing westward with a unique view of breathtaking sunsets. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the house and the surroundings very much. The garden, the pool area and the house is very beautiful and the house is fully equipped. We loved the perfect view over olive groves, the kap katsoulas and the ocean. In case you will go there do not forget to ask for the telescope: watching stars and moon in the night is exciting in this retreat!
The villa is perfect if you wish to enjoy Crete away from the very touristy places. The villa is the best place we have stayed in Crete so far.

We will come back!
After spending our vacation here last year, this time we brought our own mountain bikes. Our stay was beautiful again. Our kids (15 and 16) had their own rooms, the large pool was perfect for swimming in the early morning. When we weren't out riding our bikes, we enjoyed the peace at the house. For us, a perfect vacation in a perfect yet original landscape. We will be back!!

Great house, great location: a little paradise on earth!
For years, we have been going on vacation together with friends. The house is one of the best we've booked so far. Everything is new and clean. The view is impressive. Due to the slightly elevated hillside location, a beautiful view opens up over the sea and olive trees. In the evenings, we enjoyed the play of colors of the sunsets by our own pool. During the day, we made smaller trips to the paradisiacal beaches in the area or simply stayed at the house. The peace is indeed extraordinary. After a short time, one gets used to it and relaxes wonderfully while hearing the sea roaring down below and the wind rustling through the olive trees. For all of us, it was an unforgettable vacation!

Wonderful Villa with stunning sea view, perfect for relaxing holidays.
We were looking for something different as we were tired from the rush in the hotel and found a perfect match. The house sits on a hillside and offers panoramic sea views. It is a very quiet place, no traffic noise, no rush at all. The villa itself is absolute 5-star and worth the money. The place is quiet and tranquil, you can listen to the waves in the distance, no traffic noise at all. The days were excellent, but we loved the evenings enjoying perfect sunsets while having a glass of wine on the pool terrace. Although we could have spent the entire days on our terrace, enjoying the blue of the sky, ocean, and pool, we made some unforgettable trips to the perfect beaches which can be reached after a short drive. Elafonisi and Falassarna are breathtaking unspoiled beaches, but we also loved the private bays you can find everywhere.
