Description
Casa Ensueño is a detached villa with 4 bedrooms (sleeps 7) and three bathrooms. It is located in the picturesque Jalon valley, 1 km from the town centre on the mountain side with spectacular views over the valley.
Jalón is well known for its big and famous Rastro market, which is every saturday along the river side, its wine bodegas and the fiestas, which take place beginning of August and in October.
Casa Ensueño offers his guests rest and peace away from bustle, but without being far away from the coast. The sandy beaches from Calpe or the rocky bays from Benissa are attainable in a few car minutes drive, and the busy nightlife of Benidorm is located only 30 minutes by car.
This lovely villa disposes of a big terrace, with stunning views up to the Bernia mountains, a paradise for those who love hiking. With a glass of wine you can assist to the romantic and spectacural sunsets over trhe Jalon valley. A second covered terrace offeres shelter for thge hot days. From here you can reach the 10 x 5 meter pool.
Casa Ensueño consists of two floors. Through the main entrance and across the corridor you get to the big living and dinning room and from here to the outside terrace. On the same floor you find the fully equipped kitchen and a 1 bed bedroom.
Some stairs lead you to the bottom floor were the rest of the bedrooms are and the covered naya. Bedroom nº1 has a king-size bed with bathroom en suite, bedroom nº2 two single beds and bedroom nº3 also a king-size bed and a sitting area, shower room en suite and a separate kitchen and dinning area. From here you get to the pool and garden with all the necessary outside furniture like dinning table, sun lounges, different sitting places,...
There is parking place for three cars. One shade covered on the bottom level and the others on the top level at the mail entrance.

Fabulous villa fantastic location
Fabulous villa in a fantastic location. Although there were only 2 of us staying in the villa it would be suitable for a larger family group due to its layout, its spaciousness and abundance of outside space. Very quiet peaceful location yet close to (25 mins walk or 4 min drive) Jalon and the beaches of Benissa, moriara and javea are all within half an hour. We have been visiting this area for over 18 years and this is one of the best villas and locations we have stayed in and we would highly recommend Casa Ensueno. Not forgetting the owner Christian who is charming, very helpful and gave us some great tips on things to do and places to eat ( Bistro Selene and restaurant Del hierro).

Fantastic, beautiful, a dream.

A fantastic property in rural Spain with views to die for.
The property is in the most fantastic location with unspoilt views all round of the mountains and Jalon Valley. Christian is a true professional and on hand whenever you need him but nowhere to be seen if you don’t. Jalon is a truly rustic Spanish village, we were lucky enough to visit during their 2 week festival season and experienced fireworks, fire crackers, floats, water parades and bull running in the streets. Fustera beach is around 20 mins drive away, plenty of others nearby too. Larger towns of Denia, Javea and Calpe all very close too. For a peaceful and beautiful location you can’t beat this place. The villa is well equipped with a great outside cooking area. Very strongly recommend this villa for anyone.

Fantastic Villa in a Great Location
We stayed for 2 weeks with 2 families (4 Adults and 3 Kids ages 12, 9, and 8). The Villa is even better than the photos show, with space for everyone so we were not on top of each other. There are 3 main outside areas: the Pool (with its own Bar), terraces on Level 1 and 2, and the Outside Kitchen and BBQ area. Each area provides a fantastic place to sunbathe, have a drink, read a book, barbecue, or eat dinner. Whether you want to sit in the shade or in the sun. The Villa is located up the Hill approximately 25 mins walking from the town (that was with 3 kids at the end of the night) so not a problem. The views from the terraces are stunning. The villa catered very well for our needs. The Pool was clean and well maintained (and large) there was both UK and foreign TV channels and internet access throughout the property and outside areas. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the villa had two fridges, which was perfect for chilling the amount of drinks we had. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and fans. The temperatures were in the mid-30s during our stay, and despite our concerns about the lack of air conditioning, the villa stayed at a reasonable temperature, and no one had trouble sleeping due to heat. Jalon (Xalo) is a more authentic Spanish town with a wide variety of restaurants and bars such as Velosol Cycling Cafe, el desig (which has table football and a pool table), and Casa Katy, among others.
We stayed during the Fiesta Period which provided daily entertainment, such as kids entertainment during the day and a large water fight through the streets, highly recommended and fantastic. There was also music in the main square at night. Last but not least Christian, the owner, is a great help, lives locally, and is always available for assistance or information, etc.
I would be very surprised if we do not return to this villa/area again as there is still lots to do and see.

A beautiful place to visit.
Our second visit to Casa Ensueno did not disappoint. The new improvements such as the shaded barbeque area made our stay even more enjoyable than before.
The owner Christian is always easily reached for help and advice and his attention to detail is excellent. If you are looking to stay at a villa that will leave you with special memories I would definitely recommend this one. We hope to return again.
