Take a holiday in our "Ellie House" according to the motto: "Arrive and feel good"
We offer you a very cosily furnished 3-room holiday home of the beachcomber type in a roof-only construction on the North Sea coast in Dorum-Neufeld. The North Sea beach (green bathing beach) and the mudflats are only a few minutes' walk from our house. Our "Ellie House" is suitable for 4 persons (adults) and a small child. It has 61 m² of living space over 2 floors and is situated on a corner plot that is closed to the view in summer. An extra bed for your child (travel cot) is available.
In our holiday home you have a fibre-optic internet connection with 50 Mbit/s and WLAN at your disposal.
This means high-speed internet surfing and free calls to German landlines and all German mobile networks. For film and football fans, "Sky" is available in our holiday home.
Information about your holiday home:
-Layout:
On the ground floor you will find a cosy living-dining room with a fully equipped, open kitchen with dishwasher, a shower room with WC, washing machine and hairdryer as well as one of two storage rooms. The second storage room can be reached from the outside via the terrace.
The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor. The "master bedroom" has a double bed, wardrobe and flat screen TV. The "children's bedroom" has two separate beds. For smaller children, the existing extra bed can be set up. The terrace has a garden table with four garden chairs, parasol, two sun loungers and a charcoal grill.

Crockery, cutlery, wine glasses etc. are all provided.
-Bathroom:
A bathroom with shower, WC, hairdryer and washing machine.
-For children:
High chair, stair gates upstairs and downstairs and socket protectors (integrated in the sockets) are available in the house.
Children's books, games and toys are also available in the house.
-Outdoor area & parking:
Terrace and garden, garden furniture with four garden chairs, two sun loungers, parasol and charcoal barbecue.
A free car parking space is located directly at the house!
-Prices:
Depending on the season, from EUR 49.00 per night for two people, including electricity and water.
There is a one-time charge of EUR 80.00 for final cleaning and the seasonal visitor's tax (guest card).
-Bed linen and towels:
Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be booked at any time. The beds are then made up by us.
-Minimum stay:
3 nights in low season. Arrivals and departures possible daily.
7 nights in high season (Easter, summer and autumn holidays). Arrivals and departures only possible on Saturdays.
7 nights over Christmas and New Year's Eve. Arrivals and departures possible daily.
-Pets are not allowed:
Pets are unfortunately not allowed in our house.

Location and surroundings of object
Our "Ellie-Haus" in Dorum-Neufeld is located on the German North Sea coast between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven. It is 21 km to Bremerhaven and 19 km to Cuxhaven. The holiday home is located in a quiet holiday home settlement and has a garden view
Everything in Dorum-Neufeld is within walking distance. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday home there is a small EDEKA grocery shop and various bakers. Various restaurants with different food offers have something for everyone. The fish rolls and many other delicacies at the numerous stalls at the Kutterhafen are also very tasty.
The green bathing beach, which directly adjoins the "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park" and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers bathing fun in summer. All year round you can take a wonderful walk here, watch migratory birds and let the North Sea air blow around your nose.
The Watt'n Bad in Dorum-Neufeld offers daily bathing fun and much more, regardless of the tide. Whether it's relaxing in the Brodel Bay with a view of the sea, great slides into the wave pool or barrel sauna (not free of charge) - there's fun and relaxation for the whole family here. The outdoor pool is free of charge in the high season in conjunction with a valid spa card
The indoor pool offers bathing all year round (except during the revision period). In the low season, the Watt'n Bad is reduced in conjunction with a valid spa card.
Right next to the Watt'n Bad is the National Park House with various aquariums, where those interested in nature can find out about the Wadden Sea National Park free of charge. Guided mudflat walks are also offered here.
For children of all ages, there is the large children's playhouse at the harbour. The friendly educators always provide a varied programme with lots of activities to take part in

The surrounding area offers good conditions for windsurfing.
You can easily reach the island of Helgoland by boat from Bremerhaven or Cuxhaven.
Büsum is 49 km from our "Ellie-Haus" and Wangerooge is 42 km away. The nearest airport is Bremen Airport, 78 km away.
Arrival by car:
Take the A27 motorway in the direction of Cuxhaven.
Take exit 4 (Neuenwalde / Dorum) and then turn right towards Dorum.
In Dorum, turn right in the centre of the village and you will see the office of "RAT-Immobilien / Strandbüro Brogsitter" on the left-hand side, where you will receive the key for your booked holiday home.
After receiving the key and the guest cards, continue on the route and turn left after approx. 50m in the direction of Dorum-Neufeld / Strand.
After approx. 6 km you have reached your holiday destination, your "Ellie-Haus".

| The additional costs for electricity and water are included in the accommodation prices. As is usual in the coastal regions, a seasonal visitor's tax is charged for the guest spa card on arrival. In the high season (01.05.-15.09.) for adults 3,40 € per day and for children/young people (3-17 years) 1,80 € per day. In low season (16.09.-30.04.) for adults 2,00 € per day and for children/young people (3-17 years) 1,50 € per day. Please inform us in advance of the names and dates of birth of the persons arriving. Then we can prepare your guest spa cards for you and your arrival will be easier and quicker. Please also remember that there are no bed linen and no towels in the holiday home. Therefore, please bring them with you or simply book them in addition. The price for a linen package consisting of bed linen and towels is € 19.00 per person. The beds are then made by us. To be on the safe side, please consider taking out travel insurance (flex booking). With the surcharge of € 79.00 for the flex booking, you have the option of cancelling the booking free of charge up to 8 days before the start of the trip without giving any reasons. |
Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 45 days before the arrival date.
Customer Cancellation: The cancellation must be made in writing. If the renter cancels the contract or does not occupy the rental property, appropriate compensation for the rental loss must be paid if the rental property could not be rented out to someone else or if the rental income achieved is significantly lower. The compensation for rental loss amounts to: Up to 45 days before the start of the rental period, a processing fee of 10% of the rental price, but at least 80 Euros, is due. From 44 to 30 days before the start of the rental period, 25% of the rental price. From 29 to 8 days before the start of the rental period, 60% of the rental price. From 7 to 0 days before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental price. If the rental property can be re-rented, a processing fee of 10% of the rental price, but at least 80 Euros, will be charged to the renter in any case. For flexible booking with a premium of 79 Euros: Up to 8 days before the start of the rental period, 0% of the rental price. 7 to 0 days before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental price. If the property can be re-rented, the amount already paid minus 79 Euros for the flexible booking will be refunded. With the premium of 79 Euros for the flexible booking, the renter has the option to cancel the booking without stating reasons, free of charge until 8 days before the start of the trip.

Time and again North Sea
We are already around Elli's house for the 2nd time.
We have felt very comfortable from the very beginning. Everything is just right, and we have a comparison; we have been coming to Cuxhaven for 40 years.

A nice holiday home with some flaws and unfortunately not quite clean.
Solar collector found disassembled in the bathroom.
Bathroom light defective.
TV channels set incorrectly.
No resolution by a caretaker despite complaint.
Shelves slightly dusty.
Not a single dish towel included in the booked laundry package.

Well-being and relaxation
The holiday home is lovingly and cozily furnished. It practically invites a longer stay. One feels really comfortable, as if at home. I can only recommend it further.

Beautiful quiet days
Highly recommended. Many small shops and restaurants in the area. However, a car is recommended to also undertake activities further away. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Eine tolle Ausszeit
With my son, I was able to enjoy the first rays of sunshine this year in and around this charming holiday cottage in April. Cozy and lovingly furnished and equipped down to the smallest detail, we lacked nothing. Thank you very much for this wonderful relaxing week.
