Description

The light-flooded flat is comfortably furnished so that you can feel at home from the first day of your holiday. SAT-TV, music system, CD radio, books and board games are available for your entertainment. The terrace is furnished with table and chairs.

The kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, cooking utensils and the necessary small electrical appliances (coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, hand mixer, raclette and fondue machine). A dishwasher is available.

Our holiday home with a total of 3 flats is located in the popular seaside resort of Wangerland-Hooksiel on the North Sea coast. The centre of the village with its attractive retail shops and restaurants is within walking distance. The beach is also only a few minutes away.

Wangerland with its coastal bathing resorts offers countless restaurants, cafes as well as quaint pubs. In the numerous shops, young and old can find maritime gifts and souvenirs. The seawater indoor wave pool in Hooksiel and the Frieslandtherme with sauna and wellness area in Horumersiel invite you to relax.

GUEST CONTRIBUTION per day from 2021:
Adults € 3.00, 13-17 year olds € 2.30, 4-12 year olds € 1.15, reduced guest fees apply during the secondary guest contribution period.

Cancellation terms:

In the event of a cancellation, the tenant must pay 90% of the agreed rental price (excluding final cleaning, extra services, and guest fee) if re-renting in the same period is not possible. If the property is rented out to another party, only a processing fee of 40 euros will be charged. Therefore, the landlords recommend obtaining trip cancellation or interruption insurance in a timely manner. Should the rental of this apartment be prohibited during the selected travel period due to a governmental general ban on accommodation (epidemic/pandemic), a cancellation will be made free of charge.

Not again

The apartment was too small for 2 people with a dog, the bathroom tiny. We gradually removed a lot of spiders, webs, and nests from the ceilings. The floor was sandy right upon moving in. But the worst was the musty smell in the entryway and in the apartment. There was also a smell as if a cat had peed somewhere. We left earlier than planned. We definitely will not come again. Bad
Also the fact that we couldn't use the internet unrestrictedly and streaming was prohibited is a big downside.

Pleasant despite the scorching heat.

For the North Sea coast, it was unusually hot, yet the apartment remained pleasantly cool. Great that the Hooksiel Wave Pool is to be preserved and modernized. We will gladly come back.

Great: Beautiful and very clean

Our vacation days in the apartment Krabbe were lovely. The facilities are good, complete, and everything is very clean. Thanks to its central location, we were able to do a lot on foot. The wave pool with saltwater is really fun and allows swimming in seawater at a pleasant temperature all year round. We are thrilled.

Super Urlaub

7 days of perfect vacation, actually much too short. The beach was too far for us to walk with our little granddaughter, so we had to take the car. The manager was very accommodating and friendly; baby bed, high chair, ... were already prepared. Highly recommended.

Location top but service unfortunately anything but desirable

To spend a short holiday at the North Sea, we booked the holiday flat Krabbe in Hooksiel for four nights. We arrived full of expectation and found that the flat was not pre-heated. In the evening we had max. 17° and in the morning only 15°. The TV remote control was also missing. We complained about everything to the manager and they said they would take care of it as soon as possible. There was no improvement
It should also be mentioned here that the outside light did not work, there was possibly mould in the vestibule of the flat, the floor in the hallway was not clean and the toilet was leaking.
All this contributed to the fact that we left one day earlier than planned and will definitely not book this flat again.

Mit unserem Verwalter hielten wir Rücksprache um künftig an sehr kalten Wintertagen die Wohnung frühzeitiger zu beheizen. Offensichtlich bedeutete die fehlende TV-Fernbedienung - der Verlust war vor Ihrer Anreise nicht festgestellt worden - für Sie eine schwerwiegende Einschränkung. Trotz unserer Bemühungen war es uns nicht möglich, für das ansonsten uneingeschränkt funktionsfähige Fernsehgerät über das Wochenende eine Ersatz-Fernbedienung geliefert zu bekommen. Bezüglich der weiter ausgeführten Kritikpunkte hätten Sie gerne unseren Hausmeister beim zusätzlich stattgefundenen Vorort-Termin ansprechen und um Abhilfe bitten können. Über Ihre Bewertung bei ferienhausmiete.de sind wir überrascht, da Sie Ihre Reise über ein anderes Internetportal gebucht hatten. Wir bedauern, Ihren Ansprüche nicht gerecht geworden zu sein.

Since we have been here very often, we can only report the best about this apartment. Even if something didn't work, it was fixed immediately.
