The RockCabin is located directly against a rock face of an old quarry and is ideal
for an absolutely undisturbed holiday for two or three people in the midst of a wild and romantic setting.
Situated between the edge of the forest and meadows, it is flooded with light thanks to three-sided full glazing and offers an unobstructed view of nature.
From the small rock terrace, it is only a few steps into the forest or across the meadows to the distinctive surrounding “stones.” When furnishing the cabin, we placed value on individuality.
The kitchen sink was cast from concrete. On the sleeping level (2.70 m high), you sleep on organic mattresses. On the ground floor, there is a lounging and relaxation area with Japanese and organic tatami mats with a futon. Here, there is space for a third person. The bathroom is equipped with beautiful bathroom furniture.
The living and dining area is furnished with selected pieces. The house is supplied with electricity via a photovoltaic system. The underfloor heating is powered by a heat pump. A Danish wood stove provides additional comfort in autumn and winter.
Of the 6-hectare property, 3 hectares are fenced. There is direct, private access to your own forest and, on request, the possibility to use the sauna in the main house.

The unique location of the house on the Elbe slope with a view into nature provides relaxation and recreation.
The property from the 1928s is situated in a secluded location about 700 m from the village.
Neighbor's horses are in our paddock, which you can also ride.
Excursions:
It is about 45 km (45 min) to the Saxon state capital Dresden and about 1.5 h to Prague. The S-Bahn line 1 also stops in Krippen and can be reached directly from the house via a footpath through the forest. Dresden can be reached without changing trains within 50 minutes.
The Saxon Switzerland National Park and the romantic Bohemian Switzerland are within sight and can be quickly reached via the Elbe bridge in Bad Schandau.
There is also a large spa directly on the river in Bad Schandau. Country inns and restaurants can be found in Gohrisch, Königstein, and Bad Schandau. It is about a 40-minute drive to the snowy Ore Mountains.
The Kleinhennersdorfer Stein and the Papststein, both sandstone mountains nearby, are perfect for taking small trips from the house.
