Description
The idea behind the Deichquartier is to offer a holiday home where everyone enjoys a holiday, especially families with children. Your dog is also very welcome. As we are travelling with two small children and a dog ourselves, it was often difficult to find the right place to stay. When we did, it seemed almost impossible to fit everything we needed into one car.
That's why we hope that in the Deichquartier you will already find much of what you have otherwise always tried (in vain) to squeeze into the boot.
Our - and hopefully soon your - Deichquartier is a detached single-family house with a large garden and a far-reaching view directly on the inland dike near St. Peter-Ording.

For 6 persons (+ children), the Deichquartier offers a large living/dining area with open kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The garden is mostly fenced in and, in addition to peace and quiet and the fantastic view, offers plenty of opportunities to play and a barbecue area.

Location and surroundings of object
In the middle of nature, the sheep right by the garden and yet the wonderful beaches of St. Peter or Germany's most famous lighthouse in Westerhever very close by.
The dyke quarter is quietly and idyllically situated directly on the inland dyke with a far-reaching view into the distance. St. Peter-Ording and Westerhever are close by and Garding is also within easy reach. From the garden you can see as far as the church tower of Poppenbüll. From the dyke opposite you can see the Westerhever lighthouse, provided the sheep let you....it is admittedly small, but still.

How to get there
By car:
Follow the A23 to Heide and then take the B202 exit towards Tönning.
After 13 km on the B202, turn right onto Poppenbüller Strasse. After 2.3 km turn left onto Sankt-Johanniskoog-Ring. After 2.5 km turn left onto Neukruger Chaussee and after 1.1 km turn right onto Westerdeich.
After a good 100 metres, Deichquartier is the middle house on the right. (The sheep on the dike are already waving on the left)
By train
Take the regional train via Husum to Garding. From there it takes about 7 minutes by taxi.

| Dogs are welcome, but are not allowed on the upper floor or on the seating furniture. Dogs cost a one-time fee of 20 euros per dog and stay. You can also book our optional linen set. The costs are 18,- Euro per person for 1 large and 2 medium towels, bed linen and sheets. Children's linen sets are then free of charge. They amount to an additional 140,- Euro per stay. |

Our cancellation conditions are transparent and fair:
The tenant can withdraw from the rental contract, provided that the rental period has not yet commenced. This requires a written declaration to the landlord. If a withdrawal is declared, the landlord may demand compensation from the tenant. The compensation is graduated according to the short notice of the withdrawal. The date of receipt of the notice of withdrawal by the landlord is decisive. If the tenant withdraws from the tenancy agreement without naming a subsequent tenant who enters into this tenancy agreement on the same conditions and for whose contractual obligations the tenant is jointly and severally liable, the following pro rata rents shall be paid as compensation, taking into account the expenses saved, insofar as it is not possible to let the property to another tenant:
In case of cancellation
-up to 59 days before the start of the rental period: 20 % of the rental price
-up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 40 % of the rental price
-up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 80 % of the rental price
-up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 90 % of the rental price
-otherwise (later than 14 days before the start of the rental period) 100 % of the rental price.
The lessor shall nevertheless endeavour to let the rented property to other tenants. The tenant may at any time prove a lesser loss. If the tenant breaks off the stay prematurely after arrival, he remains obliged to pay the full rental price.

We are a young family with 2 little girls (2 and 4), mum, dad and family dog Piper. We ourselves have often enjoyed holidays in the region in and around St. Peter-Ording (first without children, then with) and can hardly imagine more wonderful places We have designed the Deichquartier with the needs of young families and all those who want to do without virtually nothing on holiday in mind. Therefore, we hope that you will already find many things in the Deichquartier that you have otherwise always tried (in vain) to squeeze into the boot of your car.
