Always mega and always happy to do it again

We go to this dream holiday home every now and then with the family from grandma and grandpa to grandchildren. Every age feels very comfortable because everything is there that we expect in a holiday
Enough rooms for rest, large area for everyone, garden to relax or play, sauna....
The equipment is great: enough towels, bed linen, kitchen, toilet paper etc...
And if something doesn't fit, it will be fixed right away.

Super!

A super large and beautiful house awaits you here. The furnishings are in very good condition and we wanted for nothing.
The playground in the garden is great for children. With 5 bedrooms, there is enough space for larger families or several small families.

We heated and used the sauna in the garden every day
In the summer, it's definitely a good place to be. The sun shines on the terrace and garden all day

The landlords Josef and Monika were very nice and we felt very comfortable. The farm can be visited at any time, and in the evenings you can milk the cows yourself. All questions about the farm are answered, so you get an exciting insight
Sepp's cider cellar was tested extensively for several hours and found to be very good :)
At Gasthof Stampfn you can order and pick up very good, cheap and large schnitzel sandwiches

This was certainly not our last stay with Josef and Monika. Next time then in a summer,

Great family holiday

We enjoyed our family holiday together with our children and their partners, as well as our 6 grandchildren
and our 6 grandchildren.
We immediately felt at home.
The children were able to totally let off steam on the huge property and enjoyed being with each other as well. The newborn calves and helping to feed them were the highlight.
The hosts, Sepp and Moni, are very warm and helpful.
You have to experience the in-house cider cellar and an evening with the two of them.

Perfect for a family weekend

A great and very large house with perfect facilities for young and old. The rooms are optimally divided and tastefully furnished. The house is wonderful for a family or friends weekend. The house is very quiet and detached, you have to drive by car to go shopping. The landlords are extremely friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Simply SUPER!!

We were a group of 12 friends for a week and it was simply great. The beautiful and modern house offers incredibly much space, the two large tables on the terrace and in the dining room are great for shared meals or games. The Ortner family are incredibly nice and friendly hosts. We will probably come back.

You can't do more.

We spent a few days in this beautiful house (4 families, 8 adults, 2 children). Everything is perfect, the cleanliness, the furnishings, the arrangement of the rooms, the tasteful decoration, the warmth of the landlords. Children were able to visit the farm, fresh bread rolls for breakfast - it doesn't get any better than that! We felt so comfortable, there were too few days!

We are 3 families with a total of 6 children and have finally found the perfect holiday home! The rooms are well designed - all with blackout blinds, 3 very nice bathrooms, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, plenty of dishes and a great table where everyone can sit!
With a foosball table and table tennis table, there is plenty of fun indoors. Outside there is a trampoline, swings, and a sauna (which we didn't try).
It's a pity that 3 nights are not available during the peak season, but we hope that we can come back! Unfortunately, Austria only has short Pentecost holidays.

Thank you very much for the great short vacation.

We were accommodated with 3 families, a total of 13 people, in the holiday home of the Ortner family for a couple of days. The house is very nice, bright and spacious. Cozy atmosphere with modern facilities and great attention to detail. After the sauna sessions, we could relax by the fireplace with a great view of the picturesque landscape. Our children also had a lot of fun and the youngest even got to visit the farm, which she was totally thrilled about. The Ortner family welcomed us very warmly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you so much for that!
We would recommend the accommodation at any time and will certainly come back!

Relaxed family vacation with a wheelchair user, baby, and dog.

We had two beautiful and relaxing weeks in the spacious holiday home of the Ortner family. We arrived as a group of seven and had more than enough space for everyone, including the large electric wheelchair and hospital bed (superbly organized by the hosts). The entire house, the lovely garden, and the large terrace are easily accessible without barriers. Our hosts welcomed us very warmly, gave us great excursion tips, and even provided us with fresh eggs, milk, and cider from their own farm.

We thank the Ortner family for their great hospitality and the wonderful time in Wetzendorf.

Ein kleines Paradies

We spent 10 days with our young children in the beautiful, spacious, and excellently maintained house. It offers enough space for several families in the dining area, living room with fireplace and a view of the fields, terrace with a grill. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are plenty of toys for both children and adults. The location is fantastic. There are many opportunities for activities, city trips...
The hosts, the Ortner family, are extremely accommodating and hospitable. We visited the farm several times and watched the cows and calves. The vacation was wonderful all around, and we will definitely come back! Susi, Erdmute, Carsten, and company.

An all-round successful holiday

Very spacious, modernly furnished bungalow with room for 11 people (including 3 wheelchair users). We spent most of our time on the large terrace, which was specially equipped with a ramp for us. Due to the friendly nature of the Ortner family, we felt very comfortable from the beginning and enjoyed visiting the family farm. Requests and wishes on our part were fulfilled in a flash. One phone call was enough

Wonderful house with plenty of space

We spent 3 great days at Haus Ortner with our relatives and friends. We really liked the house itself. There are enough places for 12 people (6 bedrooms), a large living room, a huge terrace, and plenty of outdoor space - beautiful. The house has everything you need. In other holiday homes, we always had problems - something was broken in the kitchen or something important was missing, but here everything was available. You can see immediately that the Ortner family takes care of the house. Ortner takes care of the house with much love.
Many thanks also for the delicious cake from Mrs. Ortner and for the entertaining apple wine tasting. The Ortner family are the best hosts! Lots of love from Munich! Sascha, Irina and company.

Pure hospitality.

everything is fine

We had spent a relaxed, great, long weekend in this holiday home. The house is perfectly equipped for larger groups. We were seven adults and had plenty of space for ourselves and our belongings. We found the location very good, it is totally peaceful, beautiful for hiking and cycling, but you can also quickly reach Passau if you need hustle and bustle.
The Ortner couple had several addresses ready for good taverns, excellent!!! The Ortners were also very interested in our opinion whether there is something missing or to improve, but there is nothing to complain about, everything just fits.

In this sense, have a great time in Esternberg!

Super beautiful!!!

A wonderful, spacious house for multiple people in an idyllic setting! It is well-equipped with everything you need for a vacation or a break. A perfect holiday spot for families with children as well! We especially enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace, where you can enjoy meals and relax until late evening, even in bad weather. incredibly beautiful

We had a great time in your magnificient Ferienhaus in Wetzendorf. The country around the house creates an atmosphere of calm, relaxing serenity. Far from the crowds, we were close to the Donau (le beau Danube bleu) and its bikepath. Thanks to your convenient and friendly transportation! We would say that your place is the best place to live, relax and explore the Danube and beautiful places around, like St-Florian, Passau and Scharding. If we add the fresh milk and eggs you took to our door, we can say that you, Monika, made our stay in Wetzendorf the most pleasant time of our trip in Austria (Osterreich). Somewhat remote, but great!

The holiday home met our group (family, ages 18 to 88) in every way. Everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you very much, Ortner family, for the hospitality and attention to wishes and suggestions. The house is spacious and clean, with great outdoor facilities and generous equipment. From spoons to trampolines, everything is there. The location is good for relaxing, cycling, and for (shopping) trips to Passau or Schärding...and to the treetop walkway.

beautiful family reunion

Our extended weekend in Esternberg will remain in our memory very positively. We felt very comfortable, as the house is very spacious and on one level. The kitchen is very well equipped, grilling worked wonderfully, and the beautiful long dining table is practical. The large living room is great. The bedrooms are functional, and you sleep very comfortably. Unfortunately, the large bathroom is a pass-through room and therefore not really usable with privacy! Perfektes Urlaubsdomizil

The bungalow exceeded our expectations based on the great photos even more! We enjoyed a great Easter holiday with 12 people and made use of the game room with table tennis and kicker, as well as the giant bathtub and infrared sauna in bad weather. Thanks to the covered terrace, grilling is possible in any weather. Thanks again to the Ortner family for the great care and supply of eggs and rolls, and the visit to the great cider cellar. Our children loved the little calves and Lilly the most, of course. Thanks to the location, we made great trips to Passau and the treetop walk. We will definitely come back! ! !

spacious accommodation with great amenities

Very spacious accommodation with complete and high-quality equipment. Ideal for the extended family. Very nice hosts who not only make you feel warmly welcomed but also take good care of you. Whether it's the bread and egg service, tips for activities, cider tasting, etc. Two families had wonderful days in a beautiful environment and great accommodation. What else is there to improve? Maybe bring back the 22-degree air temperature in November sun? Ok, that would be really exaggerated now...

We spent a long weekend at the holiday house with two families. The welcome from the Ortner family was very warm. The house has everything you need and is great for two families. We were with different generations in the house and everyone felt very comfortable. The surroundings are just beautiful and suitable for feeling good. The house itself offers a lot of space, and you don't have to limit yourself even during a "long evening outdoors" because the house stands alone. The open fireplace and outdoor fire pit are great. Pure coziness. Free WiFi. Bread delivery service. Fresh milk and fresh eggs. Great. Last but not least. the hosts/landlords: extremely friendly and helpful and in general... Super Urlaub

We stayed with children, grandchildren, and 2 dogs at the Ortner family's house. It was a dream, we were warmly welcomed, and even my granddaughter was allowed to stroke the newly born triplet calves. We are totally thrilled and are already reserving for 2017! Thank you, Ortner family.

Wonderful holidays with the Ortner family in Esternberg

We spent a week in the house, unfortunately, we could not stay longer because it was already booked. It is a very beautiful bungalow, everything you need was there. Everything was wonderfully clean and new. The welcome was very warm. We were with our daughter and grandchildren (9, 6) and we had a lot of fun. The weather was very nice, there were several outdoor pools in the area. There are also several options for excursions. This area is particularly suitable for younger families and seniors. We will gladly come back.

Great dream with lots of love in the details

We were curious about what awaited us...

Upon arrival and a warm welcome, we inspected each room, which had been decorated with great attention to detail.

The courtyard is superb, with a green view all around, a Hollywood swing ready for use, and a fire pit for the evenings.

We have been to vacation homes many times before; but this one surpasses our already good experiences. So many things have been taken into consideration here, making the beautiful surroundings truly fantastic.
