Again and again

This is the third time we have stayed in Mrs Chabert's holiday home, I think that says it all.
We already feel really at home there. The house is very well equipped. The beds have good mattresses. Fans in the bedrooms, which we also needed this time. In the evening you can eat on the beautiful overgrown terrace, in the morning of course you can have breakfast. There is a gas barbecue on which the meat is cooked to perfection. Centrally located, you can explore the whole of Provence from there.
There are books, games and many tips for excursions. The communication with Mrs Chabert is excellent, as is the written instruction for the holiday home.
All in all, we enjoyed it once again.

Relaxed vacation days

We (67 and 77 years old) spent three weeks in the holiday home and, above all, enjoyed the optimal location on the outskirts of Carpenteas. Since we know Provence well from repeated visits, we mainly wanted to cycle through the vineyards. Within a few minutes, we were outside with our bikes, able to enjoy the magnificent landscape with views of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles every day, away from the main roads. With the e-bikes, many small places with weekly markets and a lot of charm were accessible. The house is fully equipped, and the kitchen setup invites you to cook for yourself. On the shaded terrace, there is a new grill (though we did not use it). The main windows (bedroom, bathrooms) have mosquito screens, which are very necessary. I would also recommend bringing Autan as mosquito protection. In our last week of vacation, it was up to 45 degrees hot! Fortunately, there are large fans in the bedrooms on the first floor, and there is also a ceiling fan in the living area, keeping the house at a pleasant temperature.
Seating areas in the garden are placed around the house, even by a small pond with water lilies and fish.
The entire rental process with Mrs. Chabert was friendly and uncomplicated; the deposit was promptly returned. We would gladly vacation there again, warm regards to Mrs. Chabert!

Beautiful holiday

We, 3 adults and dog, spent 14 wonderful, relaxing and eventful days in Provence. The holiday home is situated in a romantic garden with many cosy and shady places and the large terrace invites you to linger. The house has everything your heart desires. A very well equipped kitchen for cooking fans, fast W - LAN, many games, books, a folder with excursion tips, a comfortable couch, washing machine and dryer and much more. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and comfortable beds
Due to the central location of Carpentras, excursions to the entire Provence are possible and both culture and nature lovers will get their money's worth.
The booking and the whole process was uncomplicated.
Many thanks to our landlady

wonderful holidays

We enjoyed the week we spent in the flat very much. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room invites you to spend cosy evenings playing various games. On the terrace, you can relax wonderfully and enjoy the wine directly from the surrounding vineyards. The fairy lights woven into the plants on the terrace and the sweet, winding garden create a romantic, cosy atmosphere. A special highlight for us were the barbecues outside in the garden. The surrounding area is very suitable for hiking and Carpentras, Avignon and also smaller villages nearby are definitely worth a visit. We were just as happy with our hostess. The organisation was super uncomplicated and we were sent lots of tips for excursions, shopping etc. We simply had an all-round lovely holiday. We simply had an all-round wonderful holiday.

Beautiful house, paradisiacal garden, perfect location

At the end of our almost two-week stay in Mrs Chabert's holiday home, we regretted only one thing: not having stayed longer in this romantic retreat. But back to the beginning

The booking process went quickly and smoothly. Before departure, we received an email with information on how to get there and how to handle the house, as well as valuable recommendations for things to do and where to shop

On site, our expectations were fulfilled in every respect. The holiday home is centrally and at the same time quietly located on the outskirts of Carpentras. The intricate garden with oleander, palms, cypresses and a small fish pond is even more beautiful than the photos suggest and offers a choice of cosy spots. On the terrace, a canopy of leaves provides enough shade even on hot summer days to enjoy, for example, a ratatouille prepared in the well-equipped kitchen with rosé - accompanied by the concert of cicadas or the sound of the stereo

Otherwise, the accommodation leaves nothing to be desired: various garden furniture, washing machine, fans, mosquito nets on the windows on the upper floor, fast W-LAN both in the house and on the terrace, house library and a folder with excursion tips - everything is there

Carpentras is not necessarily one of the must-see sights of Provence. However, the town is a perfect starting point to discover the highlights of the region: the Roman relics of Vaison-la-Romaine and the adventurous riverbed of the Toulourenc in the north, the rocky village of Gordes and the ochre quarries of Roussillon in the southeast, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with its seductive farmers' and antiques market in the south, Avignon and Arles in the southwest, the monumental gorges of the Ardèche in the west, etc. Even the Mediterranean beaches are worth a visit. Even the Mediterranean beaches are within reach as a day trip

We would love to come back one day, but then preferably for three weeks!

Highly recommended

The house is highly recommended both for its location and its amenities, as well as the beautiful garden, for both people and dogs. The garden also offers shady spots even in high summer temperatures. The area around Mont Ventoux is simply a dream. We would love to come back! Many thanks to Mrs. Chabert.

Happy holidays

Comfortable house, friendly with a spacious and well-shaded terrace, which is very nice during hot weather. Don't forget the mosquito repellent. Located near major roads for multiple visits in the region. Very friendly and accommodating owner.

Excellent holiday home away from home!

Madame Chabert is excellent to deal with! The location of this property for sightseeing throughout Provence is ideal. The home is modern, clean and spacious with an amazing, private back yard. Carpentras is a large enough centre to have practical amenities but small enough to explore by foot! The local boulangerie is only a 10 minute walk! We would use this property again without question.

Carefree vacation

We spent a wonderful Easter holiday week in this beautiful, centrally located house: The house is comfortably furnished, the slightly enchanted garden is dreamy (and definitely offers plenty of shady spots even in hot weather), and the children had enough space to play (both inside and outside). Since we like to cook for ourselves, we were pleasantly surprised to find a very well-equipped household (including washing machine + Wi-Fi). In small "problems," Ms. Chabert provided assistance very quickly from Germany, and with her "network" on site, we were always able to find an answer to our questions on short notice. Even the forgotten scarf was delivered to us afterward—thank you once again for that! All in all, a great price-performance ratio for a relaxing vacation from the start, which we wish for everyone!

recommend for: holiday with children, holiday without car, cultural and sightseeing holiday
