Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Dreamlike holiday home in a very beautiful location. We were able to spend a wonderful time here in May and June. Everything was very clean and equipped with everything. Nothing was missing. Also, plenty of space for our dogs. Everyone was very satisfied. We are really looking forward to being able to come back next year. Thanks again to the Schaffrina family, who were always available, and to the nice management. Top! ? ??

Great house in a fantastic location

Very well-equipped house. You will find everything for indoors and outdoors, and even beach utensils and plenty of books. Great location with a beautiful view. Well-kept pool area with a shower and plenty of sun loungers.
The house and garden are very clean and well-maintained.
Very nice communication with the owner, Mr. Schaffrinna.
We felt very comfortable at Casa Jojo and can recommend it without reservation.

Very beautiful, spacious and well-equipped house with very friendly landlords.

We (family with 5 adults) felt very comfortable in Casa Jojo. Very quiet location with sea views, within walking distance to the Montgo hiking trails. Very spacious property with a beautiful, large pool. Very well-equipped kitchen. Enclosed grounds (very good and safe for our curious dog.) Very friendly and accommodating landlords with uncomplicated contact and always prompt answers in case of questions. Overall highly recommended!

Only praise from me !!!

This year I was at Casa JoJo for the fourth time. Each time in winter. This year, I was even able to recharge my batteries for three months in Villa Kraft. Despite single-digit temperatures in February, we were able to make ourselves comfortable. The heating system makes the living room, dining room, and kitchen comfortably warm. For those who want it, the fireplace can also be lit for a more romantic atmosphere. My bedroom remained cool at the low outside temperatures, which I actually find pleasant. But a few times, I took a hot water bottle to bed with me. With Wi-Fi, German television, and a DVD player, I was completely satisfied with my entertainment needs. The furnishings are perfect, and the equipment with household items is exceptional for a holiday apartment. There was no skimping on cutlery, dishes, pots, and pans. Everything is there, from the blender to the kitchen scale. I went to Denia with my dog, and he loved it even more. He enjoyed chilling in all possible places in the garden, on the terraces, and also in the bushes. His favorite spot was on the stones next to the pool. However, the pool was too cold for me to dip into, with a water temperature of 14 degrees Celsius in March. But when it was illuminated in the dark and covered with thick blankets, we (sometimes 3 people and 2 dogs) could enjoy it. The garden includes at least one typical specimen from the Spanish flora, such as cacti, almond, orange, mandarin, lemon, and medlar trees, as well as other plants that I cannot name. You need a car in the Marchesa V district, otherwise, you have to walk three to five kilometers downhill to go grocery shopping or to the beach, and mostly without a sidewalk. It takes about half an hour, which is still doable. But you also have to walk back up Montgo. I give everything 100 points!

Pure Erholung

I have already vacationed here for the third time with my family, and it was wonderfully relaxing again. My son couldn't get out of the pool, and I enjoyed the peace and the sun. It was much easier than 3 or 5 years ago when my son was still a toddler, and we had to keep a close eye on him outside due to the many stairs around the house. But I find the beautifully landscaped garden particularly special - around the house, there are many opportunities to either sunbathe or find a shady spot and enjoy the magnificent plants.

Everything inside the house is also well-maintained, cozy, and extensively equipped, the landlords are always helpful and hospitable. Thank you very much for the lovely days!

Relaxed holidays

First of all, we would like to emphasise the friendliness of Mr Schaffrinna. We were already in contact with each other before booking, which gave us a sense of anticipation for the house.
The house is really very generously built and divided, 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 modern and beautiful bathrooms. The equally large kitchen invites you to cook. Beautiful view included. We loved the pool. The house is ideally located for those who like to hike. The peace and quiet was fantastic. We had a very nice and relaxing holiday at Casa Jojo.

Beautiful holiday home with large garden

A very nice holiday home in a relaxed location. Both the sea and the mountains are close by. However, due to the location on the mountain, a car is recommended. The large garden with pool and several terraces is particularly beautiful. Inside the house, the furnishings leave nothing to be desired. The landlords are very nice and helpful.

Pure relaxation in summer 2020

We chose Casa Jojo again as our retreat in the summer of 2020. We have already described the details of this wonderful property several times, simply perfectly equipped and peacefully located. Despite the ongoing pandemic, we felt safe on the property and in Spain. Thanks to the spacious grounds with all the amenities, including the pool, we had a relaxed and restful time. This year, assuming travel freedom, we will visit Denia several times and enjoy at least the villa, the weather, and the tranquility. Best regards to the Schaffrinna family on this occasion.

simply ideal

In this house, even difficult times can be overcome well. Whether it was the intense storm at the end of January that caused serious damage to the coastal area or the corona pandemic that forced everyone to stay in their own four walls for weeks - the house offers so many comforts that I felt very comfortable despite the adversities. German TV/radio stations, Wi-Fi, exciting books, comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, heating, and a great garden with a pool. ... everything is really perfect here. Compared to other vacation rentals in Denia that I have experienced, there is nothing here that I would criticize or miss. In addition, the owners of Casa JoJo are super nice and helpful, and they respond immediately if you have a request. Denia itself is a pretty, lively small town, with both sandy and rocky beaches. The hiking trails at Mongo can be reached from the house in a few minutes' walk. The hinterland offers further fantastic hiking opportunities and excursion destinations. Just great :-)))

Pure Entspannung

Pure relaxation with summer temperatures in November - that was our vacation at Jojo's house. For those seeking peace and relaxation, long walks, and excursions in the nearby countryside, this is the perfect place. The house, the garden, and the pool - simply top-notch! Definitely recommended.

The accommodation Casa JOJO leaves nothing to be desired. Very nicely furnished house, as described on the internet, great location, quiet and yet one is in the village in 5 - 10 minutes. Nothing is lacking! We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you very much.

A completely beautiful vacation

The communication with the landlord went very well, and our inquiries were answered immediately. The house was exactly as described. On-site, we were greeted by a very nice property manager (Thanks to "Mrs. Milli" at this point :). Everything was very clean, and we found everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The winter garden extension was very practical, as there are a lot of mosquitoes at this time, and it can get a bit cooler in the evenings. It provided a beautiful retreat where you could still sit outside. We enjoyed it. The pool was very nice and big, so you could swim a few laps. The advantage here was the lateral position, so you still had sun until late afternoon and the water temperature was very pleasant (we have experienced it differently before!). The location of the house was perfect, as it was very quiet here and you could really relax. All in all, it was a very nice holiday and we would love to come back.

Überwintern mit Hund

I already knew Casa Jojo from the previous year when a friend of mine had rented the house. I felt so comfortable that one visit week turned into three. The location is ideal for me as a dog owner. Just a few minutes' walk from the Montgo Natural Park, my dog and I started each morning with a short hike. If I didn't feel like walking in the mountains, I drove down to the sea. You have the choice there between a sandy beach or a promenade with rocky beach. Or you can stroll through the city, by the marina or the flea market, take trips to the surrounding area or to cities like Valencia. But you can also just relax in the beautiful house, lie by the pool, or sit in the garden. Casa Jojo is perfectly equipped with Wi-Fi and German TV channels. Radio station, a small library with German books, a well-stocked kitchen, and a washing machine in the garage. In the cooler evening hours, a fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere alongside the heating. All my friends who visited me during my stay were also thrilled. Only some found the mattress in the smallest of the three bedrooms too hard. However, everyone praised the soothing tranquility, both during the day and at night. However, without a car, you are lost. There are plenty of shopping options, but only down in Denia – a brisk hour on foot and, due to the steep streets, cycling is only for ambitious athletes. Contact with the Schaffrinna family was always very pleasant. You could always reach them via WhatsApp or email, and every question was promptly answered. Contact with the property manager was also straightforward. She speaks German and was always there when something needed to be arranged. Unfortunately, the three months passed by too quickly - I would have loved to stay for the same amount of time again.

Great family vacation!

In this house, you just have to feel comfortable! The landlords have thought of everything so that we could enjoy our time here carefree. Since we wanted to go on vacation with 6 adults and 2 toddlers, we were looking for a house that offers enough space. We found that here. The lovingly landscaped garden allows for many discoveries. Here grow almonds, loquats, lemons, and rosemary. Oleander and hibiscus blossoms against the blue Spanish sky evoke feelings of happiness from the very first minute. We will definitely return here in other circumstances as well!

Two weeks of relaxation in a fantastic location

We were able to spend two wonderful weeks at Casa JoJo. The very well-maintained property is located in a fantastic hillside position with a view of the bay in front of Denia. The maintenance, the equipment down to the smallest loving details, and the quiet location invite you to relax and linger on one of the numerous seating areas. Denia is a small Spanish town without typical concrete blocks, but with a lively old town for strolling or dining in numerous eateries. We would also like to thank Mrs. Perez as the on-site manager and Mr. Schaffrinna for your uncomplicated and quick help with questions about the house or special shopping tips. Our next timeout at Casa JoJo is already booked.

3 months with my dog in Denia in a great house - and always visits from friends. The location of the house is fantastic, and the Mediterranean garden is well-maintained. Friends and my nieces were thrilled by the numerous hiking opportunities - they even reached the summit cross on Montgo and signed the summit book. In the evenings, we cooked together in the well-equipped kitchen. Both Mr. Schaffrinna and Ms. Mili Perez always promptly took care of the smaller or larger requests. I have had a wonderful time here and will definitely come back.

Relaxing vacation with a Spanish touch

We really liked the house, which is designed in a Mediterranean style and furnished with typical Spanish décor and tiles. The outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained, with several terraces offering sunny or shaded spots throughout the day depending on preference. The kitchen is fully equipped and we lacked nothing. The Wi-Fi always worked perfectly, and even Netflix streaming was possible. The temperature in the pool was still 24 degrees in October.

We liked the location on the mountain. On one side, you can see the sea from the terrace, on the other side, you have direct access to a hiking area on the Montgo mountain. However, a car is essential to get to the city center, the beach, or for shopping. For us, this was not a problem as we arrived from the airport with a rental car.

We also liked Denia as a city. It has a cozy old town, but also a modern shopping street. Almost every day markets (vegetable, antique, or flea markets) take place in Denia itself or in the surrounding areas. Additionally, we visited many nice bars and restaurants.

Even non-Spanish or English-speaking vacationers can get along very well here with German.

Our next vacation at Casa Jojo is already booked!

Schönes Ferienhaus

We spent two weeks in this beautiful house in May 2017. The house's amenities and the garden with its many seating areas and lovely pool were simply fantastic! We enjoyed the view of the sea, the Montgo mountain, and the tranquility. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Definitely again!

We were very impressed by the reception from Mrs. Perez when we arrived in Denia with a rental car. We contacted her by phone, and she gave us a meeting point which was easy to find. She picked us up from there and drove us to the house. The house is located in a quiet residential area above Denia, with many villas to admire! From the terrace, you have a great view of the sea. Having breakfast here in the morning is wonderful, or just enjoying a cozy glass of wine in the evening is great!
Cooking is also not a problem as the kitchen is fully equipped.
Everything is clean and very lovingly furnished!
WIFI works perfectly!
The garden is beautifully landscaped, the pool is great!
Not far from the house, there is a bird sanctuary where you can go for a hike with a brilliant view over the city and the sea. The drive from the house to the sea is fantastic, as you have a unique view over the area and the sea. We found everything here that we were looking for a successful and relaxing vacation.
