Beautiful house in a quiet location.

We were in the house for a week in August. It was very relaxing to stay there. The house has everything you need. It has also been renovated and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We enjoyed the days. The location invites you to relax very much. However, you are in 10 minutes at the beach or in the nice little town where you can shop very well. The landlords were there in person upon our arrival and are also always available on short notice if needed. They also had very good recommendations for what to see in the area.
When we are back in the area, we would book there again.

Great accommodation

We spent three wonderful weeks in this great holiday home with our dog. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, the corner of Normandy is perfect for people who don't want a big hustle and bustle. We will gladly spend our holidays here again.

Anytime again

Very beautiful holiday home in a quiet secluded location, at night you can hear the cows smacking in the pasture next door. Magnificent starry sky without light pollution. And well suited for smaller children as the garden is fenced. The stairs to the upper floor are dangerous for very small children as there is no child safety lock. But for 5 year olds this is no longer a problem.... Beaches are nearby and easily accessible, but you have to have a car.

We felt very comfortable. If there are any problems, Mr. and Mrs. Wember are always available and can be on site in less than 10 minutes.

Quiet, idyllic, surrounded by nature.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the lovingly restored house. The house is well equipped, the kitchen contains everything you need. The bedrooms upstairs are equipped with blackout blinds and shutters, so it didn't get too warm even at higher temperatures.
We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and they were always available for any questions during our stay. We really enjoyed it and the 2 weeks went by too quickly! Definitely recommendable!

The holiday home is very beautiful, spacious (the pictures don't lie), and very well equipped. Located in a very peaceful area and at the same time a good starting point for beach, nature, leisure, and cultural excursions. The handling also worked well. Highly recommended!

Beautiful holiday home in a quiet location

Very nice hosts, smooth process - we really enjoyed our vacation here. Our dog also felt very comfortable. The holiday home is beautifully decorated, everything is clean and well-equipped. There is also a lovely fenced garden with many seating areas.

The house is located in a small village, surrounded by nature and tranquility. From here, you can make great trips along the Normandy coast and take long walks on the beach. It's only a few minutes by car to go shopping in La Haye-du-Puits or Lessay. In these villages, there are many small shops, bakeries, supermarkets, gas stations, and good restaurants. We will cherish lovely memories.

Stylish, idyllic, quiet, perfectly equipped

This is the best-equipped vacation home I have ever experienced. It is located idyllically and very quietly. It is so spacious that it is also suitable for five adults. There is a garden in front of the house and a garden behind the house. Those who want to leave their car should bring bicycles, preferably e-bikes.

A great house in the middle of nature.

For the second time, the four of us spent a wonderful week in this beautifully restored house. After longer or shorter excursions and great coastal hikes, we always enjoyed returning to our cozy temporary home.

Delightful!

The house is very well restored, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything. You can very much enjoy the peace and quiet and the embedding in the landscape and immediately feel at home. The garden is beautifully designed and furnished, fenced (practical for people and animals). The beautiful beaches and La Haye de Puits (for shopping or restaurants) are within easy reach by car or bicycle.

Simply perfect

The two of us and our dog spent 14 wonderful days in the house "La Mare aux Moines". If you have a soft spot for old houses, this is the place for you, because you live in a lovingly restored Norman farmhouse with a beautiful garden. The fact that the garden is also fenced in is of course a delight for every dog owner. The house is perfectly equipped. La Mare aux Moines is located in a tiny village / hamlet in a small side street, absolutely quiet and idyllic. If you like cycling, this is the right place for you, as the many small roads invite you to go on long tours to the coast or into the interior of the country. The friendly hosts provide insider tips if needed, so that you can gather many interesting impressions of the country and its people.
In a nutshell: We enjoyed our time very much and will definitely come back.
