Book a relaxing wellness holiday in our spacious and bright luxury house Villa Princess and relax at the romantic heated pool (south side), on almost 1000 sqm large property you will find a well-kept garden with tropical plants and have no annoying noise from neighbours living too close together to fear. In 3 minutes by car you are at the sea and have various possibilities to rent boats or kayaks by the hour, day or week or to book day trips to the most beautiful islands. You can reach the endless beaches of Sanibel, Captiva or Fort Meyers Beach in less than half an hour. There is also no lack of good and quaint restaurants and shopping centres in the immediate vicinity. Cycling or skating on Pine Island is particularly popular. Fishing is popular in the lake. Remarkable are the magnificent sunsets that you can enjoy from the pool area. Last but not least, the many direct flights from Europe are worth mentioning.
Care: A German-English caretaker service is on site. They will be happy to show you around the house and help you with the check-in before you leave. The friendly management will be happy to inform you about shopping facilities, places of interest and 'must' excursion destinations.
Boat trips: We are only about 1 mile from the sea. Rental boats of various sizes and strengths are available for hire at Matlache and Pine Island by the hour, day or week. They launch here directly from the open sea, with no locks and no long channel approaches. For those who are not very experienced in boating, the pontoon boats are best suited. A boating licence is not required in Florida. However, you should not be completely inexperienced. You can choose the beautiful days without having to pay a weekly fee from the start. The island world at your feet is breathtaking and will always remain unforgettable. However, if you prefer to be driven, Tropic Star in Pine Island offers daily all-day organised boat trips to Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key, Boca Grande (plenty of time for swimming).
Special features: The lake is very popular with fishermen and therefore our lakeside terrace is extremely ideal for all anglers. The lake view is suitable for young and old - long term renters are welcome. The heated pool is very pleasant in the winter months.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is situated on the small lake "Valmora". It faces south and you have a fantastic view over the lake from the whole house. To the left and right of the pool area there are palm hedges, so you are safe from strangers' glances.
Matlache and Pine Island are still truly wild and ideal for cycling, canoeing and kayaking. Between 3 and 10 minutes by car you can reach 4 harbours with boat rentals. Boats can be rented in Matlache and Pine Island - even by the day! Direct Gulf access without locks and without lengthy and slow canal and river travel is offered. The dream islands Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, Captiva and many more are easily accessible from here.
A public golf course and two children's playgrounds are within easy reach. Cape Coral,
is a very young town, especially if you look at it by European standards. It was only settled in the 1950s. In 1957, brothers Leonard and Jack Rosen transformed the land into a true "waterways paradise". The whole country was criss-crossed with canals and roads. Cape Coral now offers a total of over 400 miles (640 km) of navigable waterways and canals, some with access to the Gulf of Mexico.
Cape Coral is also affectionately called the Venice of the USA. Venice, however, has only 38 km of canals.
The first houses were built in 1958. Thanks to an active advertising campaign, the town grew quickly, although many property buyers soon found that the hotly advertised property was miles away from all civilisation facilities and was basically worthless. Others were more fortunate, or informed themselves more thoroughly before buying, and were able to enjoy a piece of land whose value multiplied over time.
in 1964, the Cape Coral Bridge was built, connecting the town with Fort Myers. Due to the large population growth, another bridge became necessary and was completed in 1997. The "Midpoint Bridge" has brought the two towns even closer together.
The oldest part of Cape Coral, the "Yacht Club" in the south-eastern tip, was built in the 1960s. Other areas followed: the so-called "Gold Coast" in the east, the "Pelican Area" in the south.
cape Coral was incorporated as a city in 1970. Today (2007), the town has just under a million inhabitants, and in winter, thanks to tourists and "snow birds" (frozen Americans from the north who are driven to Florida by the snow), about more.

Just arrived here, beautiful house, legs dangling in the pool and the view sweeping over the lake. A place to relax. Everything in the house is really good, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the bedrooms, you just feel comfortable. I fully agree with the other reviews. Car is a must.

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location
We spent a wonderful vacation week at Villa Princess. From the terrace, we could enjoy the view over the pool and the lake every morning during breakfast. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful way to start the day. The villa is beautifully decorated and well-maintained, and very well-equipped, so we didn't miss anything at all. The friendly property management was always available and helpful with any questions on-site. The contact with the landlords was also very pleasant. We always received helpful answers quickly and uncomplicatedly to our emails and questions. We hope to be able to spend our vacation here at Villa Princess again soon. Susanne and Jens.

Relax pool vacation in a dream location
The villa impresses with its unique sense of space, is styled with attention to detail, and has a charm that won't let you go. Nothing is missing to enjoy your time in the house. The suite with an adjacent bathroom impresses with its spacious layout and amenities. The location of the villa in the less densely populated north of Cape Coral is just right for guests like us who prefer peace, seclusion, and solitude, leaving the hustle and bustle of European life far behind. Pine Island is easily reachable in a short drive, and the Publix supermarket at the intersection of Burnt Store Rd and 78 allows for shopping in very close proximity. Located directly on the lake with no adjacent neighboring houses, this property offers a pool and garden area with palm trees and secluded vegetation, perfect for a relaxing and fantastic vacation with all-day sun exposure. A well-maintained property complements the remarkable overall impression. The spacious lanai is very inviting, with covered cozy seating areas equipped with ceiling fans, an creatively designed pool, and ample lounge chairs. My favorite spot was the jetty directly by the water, which invites you to linger comfortably with its beautiful stone table and umbrella. The views over the expansive lake are unique, and when a gentle breeze tries to cool you off, happiness is complete. The landlord is very nice, helpful, and communication is excellent. We can wholeheartedly recommend both the house and the landlord. A place to fall in love with and come back to!

Dream villa right on the lake.
We spent almost 4 weeks in the villa and really enjoyed our time.
The villa is huge and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything.
Our children could hardly be dragged out of the pool. They had a lot of fun.
A supermarket is only 3 minutes away, and there was also a boat dock.
The pictures are actually worse than the original.
