Atmospheric house in a charming landscape
We had a wonderful relaxing getaway in the atmospheric old rectory. The device has a lot of charm and provides a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Absolute heart of the house is the large stone terrace, from which one has a breathtaking view of the landscape. Day trips to Cluny are feasible and highly recommended readily, as the surrounding area ideal for hiking and walks. We all felt very comfortable.
Sublime terrace
The ancient home with updated kitchen and bathroom provided us with beautiful views of pastures, hills, sky and comfortable sleep. The quiet, broken only by the birds and the clock tower, delighted us. The property description is accurate, everything is interesting, old, and works. Good weather is important to enjoying the home. The owner very amiable, providing excellent customer service. This is a perfect place if you like walking, reading and quiet contemplation. Nearby Cluny is a magnificent place to visit with its market, history, and cultural activities. We loved our time in Chateau.
House with wonderful views in a beautiful landscape.
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this house; in late summer it is especially beautiful in this region. The best thing about the house is the large covered terrace with gorgeous views in this green landscape, where we have almost always stopped us. The second big plus was the ability to directly from the front door of loszuwandern for us; the trails are beautiful, well marked and very variable - the prospects force repeatedly to pause. The hostel is in a quiet and secluded and close to the town of Cluny with its shops and cafes. It is equipped with all the requirements, everything worked, was clean and ok and you could on cooler evenings very comfortable and cozy sitting in the living room. It has a very special charm, not like a stereotypical furnished house, but as the inhabited house of friends - this can be like. We liked it. But note: The bending under the beams on the way to the bedroom is something for Fitte!

It was a wonderful stay in a wonderful, very quiet place in a remote location, where a lot of history could be felt in the midst of a fairytale landscape. Very nice hosts, very accommodating, everything was taken care of. Would love to come back!

Nice holiday in beautiful surroundings.
We really enjoyed our vacation in the house, especially with the beautiful view from the terrace. The surroundings are great for day trips to nearby towns and also for exploring the surrounding hills on foot. Lots of nature and beautiful animals.

House in top location
Spacious house in a secluded location with a wonderful view of a lovely landscape, a real private family house with a lot of flair and charm and typical French furnishings, a bit nostalgic. There is a large garden surrounded by a wall where you can sit and lie down depending on the time of day, which makes it suitable for families with children who have plenty of space to play and can't run away. The bedrooms under the roof are slightly warm in very hot weather, but at night it cools down well because of the open location on the hilltop.

Wonderful view for a relaxing holiday
The holiday home impresses with its wonderful view and the personal charm of the furnishings. This is underlined by the personal and friendly welcome and farewell of the landlords.
The equipment is as described, there is everything you need. Due to the age of the house, however, one should not expect luxury: the bathroom is small and shows the traces of many years of use. The way to the bedrooms on the first floor requires some physical flexibility due to the steep, irregular stairs and the really deep beams. But this is something you are willing to do, as the incredible peace and quiet and the large, secluded garden more than compensate for this.
For us, it was a holiday where we were able to switch off very quickly. You can spend the days in peace in the holiday home, stroll around Cluny or visit one of the churches or castles in the area. However, any excursion - even to Cluny for shopping - requires a car: On est dans la campagne.

Holidays to relax and unwind
The house is as described, not highly luxurious, but completely fine for the price.
The view from the terrace is really beautiful, you can spend very nice hours there.
The garden terraces are also nice spots where you can lie in the sun. Since the whole area is closed off, you really feel at home...
The nature is still very untouched, and the area is culturally the stronghold of southern Burgundy (Cluny). Good food and wine are a matter of course in the many good restaurants in the area.
Recommended for people who like it quiet and want to enjoy nature.
