Description
A modern and lovingly furnished holiday home awaits you on 120 square metres of living space. The rooms are all on one level and the windows are equipped with blinds and fly screens. The living-dining and sleeping area has been completely refurbished with high-quality furniture. We offer a spacious living room with dining area and an extra large flat screen TV, a small bedroom for 1 person, two fully furnished bedrooms with 1 double bed each, the beds are all equipped with good mattresses and offer the best sleeping comfort. A small bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for everyday life. This house also has a winter garden, the ideal place to read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee (plenty of games and books for big and small people are available). The property of 1000 square metres is situated in the middle of the green in a quiet location. Cars and bicycles can of course be parked in the yard. If you are looking for a nice and relaxing holiday, then you have come to the right place! We look forward to your visit to the Lagenhof holiday home.

The holiday home is located in the small, well-kept village of Gablenz with inhabitants. Here in beautiful Upper Lusatia there are extensive cycling and hiking trails, fascinating forest, heath and pond landscapes in the middle of the Upper Lusatian Heath Biosphere Reserve with its typical pine forests. Our holiday home is the ideal starting point for many leisure activities. Walks, horse riding in the village, the Prince Pückler Park World and Cultural Heritage Unesco, the largest lake in Saxony Bärwalder See with many sporting and cultural activities, Schrothausholzsiedlung in Rietschen, forest railway in Bad Muskau, indoor swimming pool and adventure pool just nearby, the beautiful rhododendron park in Kromlau with its famous Rakotz Bridge and the erratic boulder park in Nochten, the popular Reinert Ranch with a western ambience Experience for young and old with a great evening adventure playground, quad tour riding and much more. The Dino Saurian Park in Klein Welka is always worth a trip back in time, or visit our neighbouring country Poland - the market offers everything your heart desires. The beautiful Spreewald Unesco World Heritage Site with its unique lagoon landscape. The old towns of Bautzen, Dresden and Görlitz are also worth a visit. The small, quiet village of Gablenz has a lot to offer if you fancy a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or love horses, whether it's long walks through woods and meadows, bowling, or simply switching off in your free time and enjoying the peace and quiet of everyday life. Pure relaxation.......
It's rare to find such a quiet, relaxing place.... We had great days here because the location is ideal to reach all the destinations. Above all, the landlords are very nice and gave us a very warm welcome
If it works out again, we would like to come back.

Great holiday home for families with children
We spent a week in the holiday house "Lagenhof" and felt very comfortable. Since we didn't know this area yet, we experienced something interesting every day. You can also reach a lot with bicycles. We were also allowed to admire the mini pony breeding of the landlords. We will gladly come back and recommend the spacious house.

Beautiful holiday home
We have had a wonderful holiday. The holiday home is very beautiful, very spacious and equipped with everything your heart desires. The large garden offers plenty of space to relax. You can experience and visit many things in the immediate vicinity, e.g. the erratic block park and the Fürst Pückler Park, or the Polish market.
The landlords are very nice and give lots of tips on what to do in the region
Unfortunately, our holiday was far too short. But we will definitely come back. We can highly recommend this holiday home

Anytime again! Short vacation over Pentecost.
We were looking for accommodation for 4 people near Bad Muskau and found it in Gablenz. The holiday home, which is equipped with a lot of love, is very clean and spacious, with a high feel-good factor. The equipment is very good.
The landlords welcomed us very warmly, even a welcome drink was on the table. If it rains, you can also enjoy staying indoors, very nice conservatory.
A good starting point for exploring the surrounding area, also by bicycle.
We had a completely relaxing short break. 100% recommendation.
