Villa Rosa is a lovely villa with private pool in Le Marche region, located at a short distance from Fossombrone. It is situated at the countryside in a very calm position but it's also close to the Adriatic coast. The location is perfect for those seeking for relaxation with the comfort of being at a short distance to the sea. Guests can benefit of a wide garden rich in plants and a wonderful pool. The property, which is entirely fenced-in, is completed by a well equipped porch with tables and chairs and a panoramic gazebo with sitting area, ideal to spend pleasant moments outdoors.

The villa is on two levels. The ground floor is composed of a living room-kitchen, double bedroom, a bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with shower. A staircase leads downstairs, where there are two double bedrooms, a bedroom with bunk beds all with direct access to the garden and two bathrooms with shower.

Located at few minutes from Fossombrone, one of the many picturesque villages of the hinterland of Le Marche.

FOSSOMBRONE
Fossombrone is a quiet town in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, at about 100 metres over the sea level. It represents one of the majour center of the Metauro Valley, the river that crosses the region for more than 100 km. Its territory consists of a modern unit and a more ancient one, still appreciated for its art beauties. Halfway from the beaches of the Adriatic sea and the art beauties of Urbino, home town of the renowned painter Raffaello Sanzio, Fossombrone is the ideal destination for any kind of tourist. At few kilometres, you can also reach the evocative “Gola del Furlo”(gorge), a mere paradise crossed by the river Candigliano that goes through the rock faces of the gorge, a naturalistic treasure that boasts singular exemplars of wildlife.
TO VISIT
In Fossombrone there are many places to visit both in the modern and ancient part. One of the main streets crosses the historic centre and is called Corso Garibaldi, delimited by monumental palaces such as the Town Hall, the Episcopal Palace of renaissance style, Staurenghi Palace of 1400 and Cattabeni Palace, also known as Monte di Pietà, of the XVI cen. Among the most representative buildings there is Corte Alta also known as Ducal Palace. The churches are spread all over the territory; truly recommended are the churches of Sant'Agostino, the church of San Filippo and the church of San Francesco, that houses a painting of Guerrini, representing the crucifixion of Jesus.
Those who love history could see prehistoric material, Roman statues or finds from Medieval and Renaissance epoque in the civic museum Vernacci, situated in the highest part of the Ducal Palace. The local picture gallery houses paintings and works of different epoques amde by artists such as: Guerrieri, Carracci, Barocci, Tiepolo e Rembrandt; there is also a collection of ceramics and Roman and Renaissance coins.
ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE
Archeological site of “Forum Sempronii”. The excavations dug up a part of the consular Flaminia, many colonnade buildings, few finds of the walls and a building partially used as baths.
