A long vacation at Barbara's home

We had a wonderful holiday in Tuscany at Barbara's place! The property and the view from there were fantastic. The garden is very spacious, you can always find a quiet corner so that you don't get in the way of other guests. The pool area is beautiful and very peaceful. From the property, all the major destinations in Tuscany (Pisa, Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano...) are easily accessible. Barbara is a great host who is always reachable, answers all questions, and has many tips regarding dining out, excursions, etc. We would recommend a vacation with Barbara anytime!

Calme et relax

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Barbara is a great host and the view is amazing. Lovely area to do some amazing Italian sightseeing. Barbara and her family are welcoming and by arrival we were surpised with some local goodies to eat (fantastic olive oil, tuscan tomatoes, cookies and some other products!). Our holiday in Tuscany

Amazing apartment up in the tuscan hills. Some fantastic views, a lovely pool, and a beautiful place. Highly recommend trips out to lucca, Pistoia and prato (as well as firenze, of course). But most of all, can't rate Barbara highly enough. Her local contacts are legendry and through her we had an experience of tuscan well never forget! Very, very highly recommended

An unforgettable stay experience, definitely to be repeated.
Clean, cozy two-room apartment in rustic Tuscan style, spacious, adequately illuminated, and located on the ground floor with a courtyard equipped with a table, chairs, and umbrella for private use. Here you can spend days relaxing in the sun and swimming in the beautiful pool. In addition, each apartment has a green area equipped with tables and chairs for private use on a panoramic terrace where you can admire the typical Tuscan landscape while having an aperitif, lunch, and barbecue. The nights also offer silence and starry skies. Excellent value for money.

Beautiful place in the heart of Tuscany! We were looking for a relatively remote place in Tuscany, away from crouds and big towns and we were not disappointed! The appartment had everything we needed for an unforgettable holiday - convenient kitchen with all appliances needed for self-catering , nice rooms arranged in the typical Tuscany style. We particularly valued Barbara's welcome when we arrived late and she had to come and help us find our way to the property. The only little inconvenience was that the wi-fi was so weak we never managed to connect to it and that reduced our chances of booking museums and attractions in advance. Apart from that, the place is a gem!

Some day in Tuscany countryside

The real bonus of Barbara appartement is the fantastic terrace with an amazing view to the tuscan countryside (it is even nicer than the photos). It is also a very quiet place which makes it very relaxing. Even if you feel in the middle of nowhere there is still a restaurant or a COOP at less than 10 minutes drive. The appartment is very convenient and has a nice "old house" touch. It is in accordance with the photos. Barbara was a very good host, flexible for check-in and check-out procedures and times. One amazing experience we had: fireflies flying at night in the olive trees below the terrace. It looked like someone had put blinking garlands in the olive trees

A week in relax

The place is beautiful, quiet and relaxed. The view is breathtaking and the pool is very relaxing. The house is very typical Italian, with all of the utensils we needed . Everything was clean when we arrived, even the bugs were very few - given that you're in the countryside. Barbara was very helpful and responsive all the time. She has put a thought in everything.

Nir’s Family in a snow holiday surprise

We had a large family gathering in Barbara's house (11 people). We were caught in an unexpectedly bad weather, and the house was our perfect getaway. It is large, cool and stylish old house. Perfect for either finding a quiet corner and reading a book or having a large family dinner. The surroundings are absolutely amazing, and Barbara a great host - responded quickly and accomodated all our needs.

The villa is very beautiful and spacious; there were 14 of us and we were more than comfortable. The house has large spaces, both indoors and outdoors, and a fantastic view. Barbara, the host, was extremely polite and helpful, always available, she even guided us on the last stretch of road from the town of Larciano to the house to show us the way (a bit tricky at the end, but doable). Overall, I highly recommend it!

The villa has a magnificent position, overlooking the town of Larciano and is always kissed by the sun. The structure is cared for in every detail, spacious and well-furnished rooms. 14 people from Norway

We stayed 14 people at I Sorbi for two weeks in July, and enjoyed every minute. The villa is placed beautifully in the hills above Castello Larciano, in the middle of an olive orchard, and with a spectacular view of the castello, Larciano village and the Tuscan plains. The olive oil produced from the olives grown on the property is wonderful and can be purchased from the family. The patio/garden area is extremely well kept, with flowers, herbs and fruit trees all around the farm house. The pool was cleaned every morning, and was extremely popular with kids and adults alike on hot midsummer days. Larciano village w/supermarket down the hill and very good restaurant/pizzeria up the hill both only 5 min drive from the house. Pistoia, Vinci less than 30 min drive, Florence, Lucca, Pisa about 1 hour drive from the house. All in all a perfect place to stay to explore Tuscany.

At I Sorbi, we found a little bit of paradise in Tuscany. It's a really stylish, comfortable house with lots of space for our large group. Lazy afternoons by the pool, followed by fantastic evenings outdoors with meals prepared in one of several well equipped kitchens and outdoor barbecues. Lots to see and do in the area - from Leonardo de Vinci's birthplace to the opulent splendour of Florence. And Barbara is the perfect host - lots of helpful hints and advice. Even happy to bring us freshly baked bread for our breakfast. If you appreciate comfort, style and atmosphere then I Sorbi is just right for you. Ten out of ten.

Romantic Villa

Il Sorbi far exceeded our expectations. We stayed for just over a week and the house was a perfect fit for our large group of several families, including young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house, in the pool and particularly our dinners overlooking the valley. Barbara and her family were the perfect hosts and even organized morning pastries and a traditional Italian dinner for us. Lots of great day trips were made from the villa - Vinci was a particular favorite. All together, Il Sorbi was the perfect backdrop for our Tuscan adventure. We made memories to last a lifetime!
